I’m going to leave an unsolicited piece of advice as the mother of a 16 year old only child. One day in the future you will be up at like 1am filling out classroom Valentines cussing your life 😂 Then further down the road you will be in Walmart and you’ll burst into tears because you suddenly realize you will never buy stupid classroom Valentines ever again 😭 One day you will give you child their last bath and read them their last bedtime story and the occasion will not be memorable or noticed. You only get the privilege of playing Santa, Easter Bunny, or Tooth Fairy maybe 5-10 times. So in those moments you want to rip your hair out for going the extra mile or are beating yourself up for not doing enough just remember it goes by in the blink of an eye 💕
