Sometimes it's about the customer and not the profit. You did the "guy thing" and honored your price. You may not get rich that way but you will make friends and that's worth more than the money.

Yup, I think we’ve all had moments like this definitely have to take your time and don’t be so quick to throw out a price. It’s always good to consider time, clean up, and disposal fees when it comes to hedge trimming.

Something like that I consider extra or a la carte...my hourly rate applies and I over estimate. If it takes me less I have the option of billing them less...It's easier to lower your price than to raise it...also - I rarely regretted not getting an 'extra job' if it meant I didn't get my (fair) price...but I have regretted doing work that I underbid on...but sometimes $25 bucks in the jar buys more gas or lunch (not both tho) than nothing - stay positive!
