I can only imagine how disheartening that is… I’m excited to see how you develop your system in the Weeks. Brand new Hobonichi Cousin owner (as of 2 days ago) and subscriber. Sorry that you lost yours this way. I'm also fascinated that you're going to be doing Obsidian related videos. While I don't use it consistently, my "inner geek" really likes playing around with it!

So sorry to hear about your Cousin. I can really relate. I couldn't believe it when I saw the title of your video. Two days ago my Cousin was stolen off my table in the back yard!!!?? Totally fenced in yard, too. A neighbor came to the door to say she saw a man jump over our fence and take something off my table. I figured it was my outdoor table I'd merely gone into the house to use the bathroom. Must've thought it was a tablet or something? Was in the Makino cover and cover on cover. Anyway, I am still pretty devastated. Using a Hobonichi Plain Notebook but I am feeling rather lost still. It could be worse. It's only February.

Oh no! That's sad but it's a good idea of yours to take images or scans of special pages. It's so rude of the insurance company to dispose of your property without giving you the option of having it back if not completely destroyed. Hopefully you could replace it if personal property is covered. I'm going to check our office policy tomorrow to see if personal stuff is included as I do leave some expensive pens at work.

That’s a good idea to check if it’s covered, I will for sure ask about that next week. There was also a projector taken to be cleaned that was supposedly returned to us but it just wasn’t there?! Honestly the company just seems really unprofessional. :/

When you said you wished you had a more exciting story … that was honestly like 5 times more exciting than I imagined it could be I’ve been meaning to scan my handwritten things especially now that handwriting recognition and ocr PDFs have gotten better. I wonder if I could make that integrate with obsidian 😅

That is crazy! Sorry that happened to you! I am debating starting over as well because I made a mistake and put stickers on each day for the entire year yesterday, not realizing that by doing so it would make it nearly impossible to use the right side of the pages! Its my second cousin and I don't want to start over but now I don't even want to use it.. I'm so upset! lol
