For future reference: Inkjet on top on basket makes the game lag like crazy, however the timer still goes at a somewhat normal speed Edit: apparently it’s been fixed, but that’s still what’s happening in the first clip

Flyfish just makes this game unreasonably difficult. I think either keep sting ray or keep flyfish but idk why they kept both in the new salmon run

I think any boss or thing can make the game unreasonably hard if there’s enough of them. Flyfist are just the most annoying because of the hardest to get rid of

Honestly this is why I rate explosher, grizzco slosher, and even grizzco splatana as being some of the best weapons in the game. They let you basically instakill flyfish, and the downsides can be worked around. Special wise, booyah bomb, stingray are my favourites. Killer wail 5.1 is decent too but can be a bit unpredictable. Triple Inkstrike could be good but I haven’t tested it since the patch dropped. It used to be underwhelming before the buff.

I’ve definitely had rounds like these lately… especially on Spawning Grounds. It’s so miserable when you end up getting overrun, everybody is dying, and you don’t meet quota but there are literally like 20 eggs around 🙄

Honestly, that just means you’re not killing stuff fast enough… it’s the only real way to keep things in check, especially with the difficulty spike.

Playing Freelance can be a gamble though- I’m not saying I’m never at fault, but you also can’t always assume the players you get teamed with in your rank are actually at the same level as you are, or have the same play style. The night time events are a prime example- I see so many people just shoot every gusher instead of looking for the brightest light or trying ones further away when the one they just shot barely gushes. Your whole team can get wiped in an instant if somebody ends up dragging a Griller your way instead of moving up and down on a ledge to make it change directions. Goldie rushes…. everybody knows what happens when you aren’t roughly on the same page as your teammates as far as positioning. Sometimes it’s just a crap shoot in Freelance, man.

That first clip must've been prepatch, one of the big fixes was addressing that issue where the framerate tanks when an Inkjet hovers over the egg basket.

1:14 you actually could have seen that coming. Steel eels have designated paths that they can travel on, and they target the player closest to their path. Since the rest of your team was further up, you could conclude that it was chasing you.

It’s not that big a deal to mix up clam blitz and salmon run. Both are extremely painful

When the fps dips so badly that you can't deposit eggs and just walk into a Steel Eel because you thought shooting it would kill it and the game says nah. When you're just staying still next to the teammate and they don't revive you when they clearly have ink and time so you start turbo'ing spam Help. Hmm, well freelance players lose matches because the team isn't luring enough or people might not play their roles. I think the biggest issue with freelance is just Nintendo servers and the rampant com errors for no reason.

Every random rotation only has 1 grizzco weapon. The latest one had the grizzco splatana, the rotation with grizzco blaster happened a bunch of weeks ago. On top of that, if the random rotation has 4 golden ???? istead of green, it means that the rotation will always give you a grizzco weapon (A golden rotation hasn't happened yet in splatoon3)
