Too bad about the voice. Just got back from Alaska yesterday, wife got the same thing Thursday had to get off the ship and find cough medicine. Ran around Ketchikan for a couple hours then went back and medicated her. I was absolutely impressed with the crew of the ship as well as my fellow travelers the courtesy and care they displayed was very impressive. Made a whole bunch of new friends looking forward to the nexr one as soon as possible!

At least Jason's cold started to act up closer to the end of the cruise and no the beginning, beautiful V-log Alisa and Jason enjoyed it immensely.. i also have the recipe for that Chocolate Melting Cake we make it here all the time.. however it's never ever as good as it is on the ship. :P

When I did delivery for a drug store 25+ years ago I would deliver to universal studios boxes of condoms that they would put over the microphones. 😂. So when you said microphone condom I thought of that.

We normally pack on the last morning but have a later leaving time on a cruise bout 10ish to give time for breakfast and packing but normally have breakfast in the cabin but we have to take our luggage off ourselves. I remember wen my bro lost his voice for a week and he had to use a kids art thing to speak. I’ve cream helps wen u lose ur voice. The cold helps. Those fish cones look fun. I found cold stuff Is better for my voice but I didn’t believe it wen I was told. I’ve done ice cream as a starter. I my 6 yr old sis not listen to me on the Disney cruise that we where going to dinner. She was loving the kids club but we did the done and play option for her. My m8 ate gator in Florida and then his wife moaned she’d ate gator. At the end Jason’s voice is better.

Also, I heard you can order the chocolate melting cake like you would order a steak based on the doneness of the middle. Rare for really melty in the middle, well done for less gooey center, etc.!

He prolly got laryngitis from a strained larynx. I had that once too. Best to just stop talking and get a pen and pad to communicate with. Takes a week or two to clear up. Even whispering is further strain, and if it's strained too much can do permanent damage. Hot whisky, lemon, and honey shots are a great remedy :-) Hope he's all better now.

As someone who has had laryngitis many, many, MANY times, I've learned not to whisper. Try to speak as normally as possible or not at all. Whispering is actually worse than trying yo talk. It puts more strain on the voice. Jason seems like the kind of guy who won't let a lack of voice get in his way of having fun!! You two are my favorite cruise vloggers and one of my fave KZbin channels! Hope to run into you on a cruise someday!!
