My biggest piece of advice with regards to baby wearing is wait until baby is here and find your local sling library! I bought one of the most popular highly rated carriers and hated it 🤦🏼‍♀️ went to a sling library and got something completely different and so so much better! Loving watching your updates ❤ xx

We got our sling and I’m so happy with it - i tried a very similar one at the baby show (same material and stretch) so I had a good idea of what I personally liked and then nabbed this one for like £30 in the sale! Bargain 💪🏻 if I hate it when baby is here it they don’t take to it we have some other options and I reckon I can get my money back due to the saving I made on Black Friday 🤞🏻🤗xax

That's exactly what we did, we just used a set of ikea drawers with a mat on top. Worked a treat and was half the price. We found having two baskets full of, nappies, creams, muslins, extra clothes ext...so one upstairs and one downstairs. Really makes a difference when you are on your own and it's all to hand x

Ah yes!!! There’s some lovely woven nappy caddies so I put two on our list to buy, one for the living room and one for the nursery 😍 especially if recovery is rough, want to be avoiding those stairs as much as possible ey!xax

I got 3 Halo Sleep swaddles in each size the first year and that's what I ended up using. The muslin swaddles my baby would wiggle out of. The halo sleep swaddles are zip up and Velcro swaddles, which saves time and you don't have to think when you are sleep deprived when swaddling the baby.

Oh my gosh baby clothes are so cute! I would buy some myself in advance (like you said seasonal ones or ones you don't think shops will have again) but I have no space! It will probably be a long time until kids for me as I'm still single! 😄

Beco Gemini baby carriers are one to look at. I loved mine for both my girls. So comfy to wear and easy to put on yourself. Got mine 2nd hand on ebay so worth looking at 2nd hand options too as baby items can be expensive.

I meant to say about sling libraries. If you've got one near you then they are fab. Have you thought about taking an NCT class with Chris? (If they are available in your area of course) We did it with our first and was a great way to meet new parents like us. It's a little pricey but was well worth it in my opinion.

We are doing an online antenatal, hypnobirthing and breastfeeding course for that stuff but i'm sure i'll look into mummy and baby groups once they're here and we're settled in. I'm a bit too nervous to meet new people at the moment but my best friend is due very soon so we'll be doing a lot of stuff together :) xax

I can do 😊 what I’ve come to quickly realise is that things are just so personal, so something that works for you won’t work for others but that’s ok. Like we don’t have enough space for just a changing station, so a changing dresser makes more sense for us as it’s mostly storage. And the slings I like were because of the material that I tried at the baby show and felt really comfy for me. Carriers mesh and breathable because Chris is warm blooded and he’ll be the one carrying mostly on big walks. It’s all so personal really and is also based on personal budgets too which are all so different. But I’ll chat about things as we go along and people can take the info that fits for them and leave the rest 🥰🤗xax

@@xameliaxKZbin OMG Amelia, I want to share ! This morning had an ultrasound... I'm at 6w4d and the Dr confirmed that both my babies are still with us 🥰 I can't believe it ! Ive been having bleeding and cramping and 2 weeks ago th OB was 100% sure I had lost one of them 😢 but this morning we heard boths hearts !😍 I dunno... wanted to share this with U 🤗 Been loving watching your weekly pregnancy vidéos... it has really helped me put perspective into all the changes I'm going through 😘
