I’ll be honest. I told myself I’d never play blob unless it got Splash Wall or Kraken. Looks like I’m maining Dread Wringer and Blob Deco this season 😎😎

new bucket looks awesome, can't wait to try it reefslider or not. Btw, I believe the dread wringer is based off of a mop bucket with a built in wringer. Cool concept, weapon visual design team never disappoints >:]

Dread wringer is a mop bucket with one of those mop wringer outers. The handle where we put our hand to hold has wheels!

Even though I love blob with chumps, I don't think they'll drop 3 chump weapons in an update; I think it'll be a 2 kraken/2 chump split Looking at the weapons with unknown kits, we can tell bow has chumps, brella has inkjet (since the goo was next to the wringer when inkjet was firing), and we can glimpse an inkstorm on orange meaning that brush has to have that. That leaves 4 weapons: Goo Tuber, Machine Neo, Blob Deco, and BPN. I think goo will get kraken as kinda like a reference to S1 squiffer, machine as you said here is likely to get killer wail, and I don't think they'll give BPN kraken since Heavy Deco has kraken. That leaves Blob Deco having Kraken. And honestly? I think it makes sense! The vanilla blob kit is very passive, with sprinkler to farm paint and inkstorm to paint even more. With marker, the blob deco kit is looking to be more aggressive, playing into marker + 2 blobs (3 with sub res). So, aggressively blobbing and then krakening forward makes a lot of sense to me. The jump attack of kraken ALSO does 60 dmg, meaning it also combos (without sub res) with the marker.

@@GUSplatoon okay, seeing goo get ultra stamp has made me reconsider; either machine ends up getting kraken and the rest is the same, or drizzle 2023 gets 2 chumps and chill 2023 gets 2 krakens, leaving room for machine to get wail and blob to get wavebreaker

What I do like most with the two new mains is that Heavy Edit and Dread Wringer seem to maybe fill a “convergent” sort of slot to splatlings and sloshers. What I mean is kinda like more minor variations of a Slosher and Heavy with different stats in a few key attributes (but still have ways they play similar to their original counterparts) and then boom, 2-3 more kits for a similar main! Essentially acting as getting spiritual 3rd and 4th slosher/heavy kits! I know weapons with huge gimmicks are great and all, but something like this that's tried and true by blasters and especially shooters is not a bad thing at all! No matter what though, I'm excited to try both!

Splat bomb is too ink hungry for machine given the ink nerfs it’s gotten in S2 & S3, so I would say no.

The Jp name for Dread wringer is wayyyy nicer its called moplin its way less edgy and nicer to say xD (also confirms it is a mop bucket) i think this will be better in terms of AoE worst at 1v1s i will take either zooka or whaile on NEO machine i just want an agressive machine kit and Blob if they give it crab it will be funny and have a niche
