Machine Neo has a sub that basically exposes the enemies' locations to your entire team and one of the best push specials in the game now This thing HAS to be competitively viable I need a second Machine kit to play in comp (Also no way Gus face reveal whoa)

I didn't know you also main the Machine. I thought "Even with the 5 frame nerf this is the best weapon in the game because of this kit", and now we go trizooka. Man imo this thing is underrated and I'm not a competitive player.

Machine main since beginning of Splat 2. Only just recently had enough time to begin playing Splat 3 and its nice to see its finally gotten a good kit, and arguably Machine Neo is pretty good too.

Yeah that's how I felt about machine neo getting crab lol, sucks that we've gone a year with no new crab weps but at least it got a splatoon 1 callback kit

No :( Slosher overshadowed every bucket in the game. Machine didn’t gain relevancy until Kensa Machine but gained meta status in S3

Honestly i wish we never got such a good kit as vanilla machine.. it probably would’ve not gotten nerfed :(

Any chance you would look into & maybe do a video about how Sloshers have a lack of variety of Subs and a repeat Special in the class? I think it’s a unique problem among the Slosher class. I’m ok with Point Sensor being the Sub but not when the class has so many repeats, considering how few Sloshers we have.

Hmmmm, that’s an interesting thought. Why do you think it’s a problem? Less variety for the general audience or is it from a competitive perspective? Just looking at Splatoon 2, the following sloshers shared a sub: Soda Slosher - Tri Nouveau: Splat Bomb Slosher Deco, Blob Deco, Explosher: Speinkler Machine Neo - Cusotm Explo: Point Sensor Moving to S3 Machine - Tri Nouveau: Fizzy Bomb Slosher Deco - Blob Deco: Marker Machine Neo - Explo: Point Sensor Looks like it’s something that’s been happening

Thank you for responding. I enjoy your Slosher related content. Regarding the question I posed, I stand by it. It did happen in the past (only in S2) but it feels more so in S3, & we haven’t gotten a Sheldon pick. We also have a repeat special in the base game (Dapple got a repeat in an update). We have 27 or so shooters, less than half repeat subs/specials. The other classes either don’t have repeats or only 1 repeat of a sub/special. Yes, there is some nods to S1 & S2 among the weapons but Machine didn’t get any sub/special unique to S3 (to be fair Marker is the only new sub, & Zooka is a rework). It may just be something I see & honestly I am on the side of custom kits (assuming reworks to Mains/Subs/Specials occur). However, when you look at the number of repeats among all classes & what was carried from S1/S2 to S3, Sloshers seem hit by it more, especially since we only have 5. I’ll still be playing Sloshers & the Neo Machine. Thanks for your time, & videos.

Forgot to say that I think the variety thing is really to both sides,. General audience is probably fairly varied, competitive got more so lately. I guess most Players would probably think more varied kits wouldn’t hurt either side or the game. That is, assuming the main/sub/special mesh well but I would like to see Custom Kits be the future of Splatoon. Thanks again.

Dawg I don't even care if it has Point Sensor. I played this kit so much in S1 it is pure Nostalgia to see this kit, plus it's a good kit.
