I don't consider myself a little old lady. I retired and now work construction, building boardwalks, doing repairs, working outdoors in all kinds of weather and riding my motorcycle. From time to time I crochet and sketch. I'm almost 70 but I'm too busy to get "old". Work keeps you moving. I will admit it takes me a bit to get moving in the morning these days, but I just keep going, just a wee bit slower....😄

I turn 60 this year and all those things are so known to me. Those vinyl, sometimes even shellac records used in jukeboxes. Landline phones with dials instead of keys. Nowadays the crisp health, you sometimes feel the joints crack already when you get up in the morning. And all the advantages these days, especially in terms of cost... No more need to chase after every short-lived fashion trend. You need less alcohol to get drunk and the hangover lasts longer. You need less time to clean, your eyes don't catch every speck of dust - where did I leave my glasses anyway? 👴

YEP, I prefer getting older, it beats the alternative. SO Ill take the aches and pains, they remind us were alive and have either had a great time in our youth doing on occasion some truly dumb, but seriously fun things. Or those aches and pains are a reminder of how lucky we were to survive our growing pains and the 2 statements that always come before the truly brilliantly dumb moves of youth .. Those phases are "Hey, You all Watch This", and "HOLD MY BEER".... small prices to pay for having a life we can look back at and laugh at ourselves I tell my kids and Grandkids . IF you can Laugh at it... You can Survive it! Cant Wait to hear your new song

I just came upon Shirley Serban's parody videos and find that they take me back to the early 80's and Weird Al, whom I saw at a local venue in the earlier stage of his career.
