Anyone old enough to have taken "real" history and civics in school is triggered by this too. My mother told me that when the first info on the camps came out in the newspapers, they all assumed it was US propaganda (hey! even back in the '40s they understood propaganda). Aside from being witty, clever, and vastly amusing, this is BRILLIANT WRITING. Such a good parody of, and so close to, the original lyrics. There are so many internal rhymes to the original words that the whole song simply Sounds Right. So _clever_ to choose words in the lyrics that when sung matched the lip movements of the original movie. Different words require different lip shapes to pronounce them (think how your mouth forms an "O" compared to an "E" for instance), and for the most part your word choices were spot on.
