I’ve seen a lot of Prince reaction videos, but none has made me cry like yours did. I love this song, but this performance is my absolute favorite of “Purple Rain” and seeing your reaction to this hit me hard & even harder was when you said that you wish you had been able to see him live because I wish you could’ve seen him live. Seeing Prince live was an event. It was something special and it was otherworldly at his concerts. I wish that you and I and the rest of the world could experience that greatness one more time and for the first time. It would change your life because it changed mine. There are so many amazing artists that have come before us, but Prince is one of a kind that can never be duplicated or replaced. I’m so glad you’re experiencing the greatness of this man and I hope you continue to do so. Thank you for making this video. 💜💜💜

I can’t believe you haven’t reacted to Purple Rain before. This is my top two performances of this song. My other favorite is 1985 Live from Syracuse. That one is so much longer. Both give me goosebumps and make me emotional.

For more tears you have to react to the live Purple Rain in Syracuse 1985 and from Paisley Park 1999.

I love how you got the Lovesexy ‘88 era polka dot blouse and cravat on tho🔥 But I’m so jealous of my parents that they were college age during this time and got to experience Prince’s greatness in real purple time. So unfair dude.

One of my favorite performances of Purple Rain. It makes me cry every time I see it, too. I was 13 at the time of this performance, and Prince was my favorite so I was very excited for this one. I consider myself blessed to have been on the planet at the same time Prince was, and I miss him terrible. Thanks for this beautiful reaction to this beautiful song, Xavier 💜☔️💜☔️💜☔️

Don't sweat it X. I was the same way after he passed. I couldn't hear that song without crying. It took at least 3 years before I could listen to it without crying. My heart still beats like crazy listening to this epic song💜💜💜

This is my favorite prince performance EVER! I loved him ever since i saw him for the first time at the age of 7. He was performing little red Corvette in 1983 on a show called solid gold. Love/obsession at first sight! I never saw this video/performance until after he passed because he wouldn't allow his videos out there before that.

Gone too soon. The way he played that guitar was so powerful. Such control that’s so mesmerizing

Another fantastic Prince reaction video. Absolutely love your Prince journey. Please keep them coming! And yes, your Polka dot shirt with the kitten bow tie is fierce and definitely something people would wear at a Prince concert and feel so great!!! There will never be another like Prince. We all still crying. But still crying tears of joy!!!! Keep spreading the love ❤️

The way we lost him was wrong, He deserved better.. One of those things I wish we could un-invent.
