The song is basically from the perspective of a woman waiting for her man to get back from Vietnam and what she'll do to him when he gets back, and expressing herself in a letter to him. "We may still have time, we might still get by Every time I think about it, I want to cry With the bombs and the devil and the kids keep coming Nowhere to breathe easy, no time to be young But I tell myself that I was doing alright There's nothing left to do tonight But go crazy on you Crazy on you Let me go crazy, crazy on you, ohh My love is the evening breeze touching your skin The gentle, sweet singing of leaves in the wind The whisper that calls after you in the night And kisses your ear in the early moonlight"

Not according any interview the Wilson’s sisters gave. Ann Wilson was in relationship with Michael Fisher who didn’t agree with the war in Vietnam so he dodged the draft because he wouldn’t fight in a war he thought was inhumane and corrupt so he went to Canada. They used to talk about how the world felt crazy and they didn’t know what they could do and that’s the impetus for the song. A quote from Ann in Louder magazine: “The world had gone to hell in a hand basket and the culture was just standing on its ear and everything was overwhelmingly in trouble,” Ann recalls. “Bombs and devils and the Vietnam War and the gas crisis. It was very frustrating. So I poured that frustration into the words of the song. I was in a very close relationship with Michael. When you’re in that situation you just climb up into your love’s lap and say: ‘Oh God, what do we do about this world?’ That’s the feeling of the song.”

As an adult, I go back and listen and with some of those songs, yeah, got to admit it a lot of them were! The dark haired lady on the left of the album cover is Ann and she's the singer and the blonde lady on the right is her sister Nancy who plays the acoustic guitar. And if you think this is good, just wait till you see/hear them live.. they are one of those bands who are 10 times better live than they are in the studio (and they not exactly bad in the studio either hehehe) Ann is one of the best female vocalists in rock and the band Heart is extremely important in the way they paved the way for female rockers ever since. They are heavily inspired by Led Zeppelin and earned themselves the nickname "the Female Led Zeppelin" for all the right reasons, they are that good. If you do not check them out doing a live performance.. then you really sell yourself short because Heart Live?... its one of the best rock acts you'll ever see and/or hear. U know why? Certain people are continually requesting certain things to be reacted to by anybody who reacts. It was bound to happen sooner or later,I've seen some the same week as others before

The blonde, Nancy Wilson is on lead guitar. The black haired woman is Ann Wilson, the lead singer. They are out of Seattle, late 70's early 80's they were at their peak. Great reaction as usual!:)

Mistral Wind is one of my favorite Heart songs. An Epic journey from your couch. I doubt many other reactors have done it. Every serious Heart fan knows it.
