​@Therealones745 Kishimoto himself said that the frontiers combat was inspired by the movie. I mean, just look at the animation for when Sonic gets a power boost, literally blue lightning, and his eyes turn blue. The movies most certainly helped rebuild Sonic's image and even brought in new fans. To say that the movies didn't affect Sonic as a whole is absolutely crazy. Of course, Frontiers helped build Sonic's reputation as well, don't get me wrong, but the movies was the first domino to get things falling into place. Now, Sonic is looking better than it ever has in quite a long time, and that's thanks to the movies, games, merchandise, social media, and SEGA's leniency on fan games.

10:20 Well, here is a thing. The versions of Sonic, Tails, Knuckles, and Amy are their Young/Classic variants from the Classic Era. So, throwing in Shadow, who is created for the Modern Era(although he first debuted in the Dreamcast Era with SA2) would be totally out of place. The same coud be said for the whole "Classic" Shadow thing that's been debunked, cause it wouldn't make sense in the timeline, especially given that Shadow was lab created with his Modern design, not born regularly like we do.
