If you haven't seen Home Free's other collaborations with Texas Hill you're missing out! When both bands sing "Dreamer" it's just magic. Their song "Go Tell it On the Mountain" is just terrific. Thanks for playing this one! There's also a live Home Free w/Maggie Baugh singing "Delta Dawn" that I think beats the earlier covers by Tanya Tucker and the late Helen Reddy. Love from Canada.

P.S. - Rather curiously all the members of Home Free can play instruments. Tim & Austin both play piano (Austin does so in "If I Met You Now" an original on his channel), Chance plays guitar, Rob can play saxophone & Adam Rupp plays drums, trumpet and just about anything he turns his hand to.

This is an original song written bay Tim & Adam Wakefield of Texas Hill…..he’s as goofy & nutty as Home Free. I met them after the show (here in San Antonio…..Great guys🔥❤️🎵🎶‼️) … they were great on stage, too….Adam is quite the character 🙃😂🔥🎶🎶‼️ WOWZA…TIM vibrates your body with his bass….YIKES…even vibrated the hair in my head😳😵‍💫🙃‼️…I think they finally got some super heavy duty speakers … he doesn’t Blow em out 🙃👍🎵🎶‼️ Guess it helped being in the 2nd row ….. it was KOOL 🙃🎵🎶‼️They filmed this the afternoon before the concert……they loved the warmer weather‼️… east of her, out in the country.

The singer you like so much is Adam Wakefield who came in second on The Voice. The guitarist is Casey James who came in third on American Idol. These two have some credentials and, combined with Home Free, they really bring out the best in each group. This definitely a catchy song!

The guy singing and playing the piano is Adam Wakefield, who also wrote this with Tim, as well as co-writing Road Sweet Road and So Long Dixie. (The guy on guitar is Casey James.) Texas Hill always use instruments, but they do use quite a bit of vocal harmony as well, and they sound incredible, so I certainly would be there and watching if you did react to them. (For more Adam Wakefield, try For The Love of It, to hear more of Casey James, there's Up One Side.) As a couple of other comments have mentioned, they used to be a three man group, with Craig Wayne Boyd, but he has now left them - he's still in the other videos on their channels, though.

Wonderful reaction! Texas Hill isn't Acapella, but it's lovely to hear them with Hme Free. I feel like the guys can let their singing voices really shine when they are not being instruments , I am blown away by Hme Free's ability to make me forget that here are no actual instruments.

I'm sad that Craig Wayne Boyd is no longer part of Texas Hill. Sounds like he was voted out of the group & they now have added 3 new members.

This is my favorite song from the new album! Home Free and Texas Hill just work so well together. Adam Wakefield is the lead on the piano, he's amazing. You should look up his stuff from The Voice. I'd have to double-check, but Adam Wakefield may have written or co-wrote this song. Texas Hill is normally 3 guys. They were missing a singer/guitar player in this video. All 3 members were on talent shows like The Voice and America's Got Talent. I haven't listened to any of Texas Hill's stuff outside their collabs with Home Free, but I'm guessing they're good.

I'm a heavy metal fan. Texas Hill is really good. Great voice. Home Free. The best out there and Tim's deep voice is insane. It's soooooo smooth. Just like butter for a bass singer. Then you have Rob, Chance,Austin and I sooooooooo want to hear Mr. Rupp sing. Love this song brother!!!!!

Texas Hill toured with Home Free during their last tour; I saw them all live in San Antonio and Tim revealed that this video was shot here in SA. Texas Hill is a traditional country band which is why they use instruments, but they've done other things with HF also, and their collabs are awesome. My one complaint on this song was it TOO SHORT! :) Glad you enjoyed the song!

Sometimes in collabs, If they want to perform with instruments they bring their instruments and play them, but Home Free is acapella so you usually won't see them with instruments and so Home Free themselves are acapella.

The thing about instruments is; HF uses them once in a blue moon only, BUT, when the do collabs, and the ones they are doing it with play instruments, it's hard to take them all out, as that is what they do. So they tone it done as much as possible, instrument-wise, as you see here (only a piano and guitar/No drum set, as they have Adam). It's a bit hard to tell "musicians" not to play their instruments.
