Same - I ordered the NUX Duotime Delay, was pretty happy with the tone despite it being a bit unintuitive to dial in - also bought an "open box" for cheaper but mine came SEALED in box! 5 days later... it died. Solder quality control? Other users have complained of power delivery issues... I may buy them used from now on to avoid nasty surprises like this

Thank you, Bill, for such a great review and demo. Based largely on your review, I purchased one! I returned to your demo to hear again how to use the tap tempo and time knob to get the dotted 8th delay. I'm sure you could make anything sound good. I was looking for a 2-in-1 delay/reverb to add to my meager pedalboard. I intend to run my existing analog delay in front of the Atlantic to begin my ambient journey! You are inspirational, sir!

Why do some pedal manufacturers choose to only have one input, but have stereo outputs? It seems like if you were going to make a stereo pedal, you'd just go ahead and have stereo in as well. That's a dealbreaker for me. Cool pedal though, and a great demo!
@teknical1006 жыл бұрын
Hi Jesse, it accepts a TRS stereo split cable at the input according to their website.
@zoomosis6 жыл бұрын
From looking at the Atlantic manual is on their web site, the TRS input is for Send & Return. Not a stereo input, unfortunately.
@zoomosis6 жыл бұрын
I agree, it seems like a strange oversight for an otherwise excellent pedal. Particularly when you consider the NUX Time Force has stereo inputs. Though oddly, the Time Force has been discontinued. The Biyang Tri Reverb is an inexpensive reverb pedal with stereo input, though it doesn't do hold/shimmer.
@teknical1006 жыл бұрын
It is very confusing. This is how they describe it on their website. Input/Outputs It has a 6.35 mm stereo input and 2 outputs for the ultimate delay and reverb experience. By plugging a TRS cable into the pedal's input, you can add the Atlantic to any effect chain via Send/Return connection by using a “Y” cable or “Insert” cable.
@Deeplycloseted4356 жыл бұрын
It should work with a y-stereo/trs splitter, no? Size appears to be the issue. Compromises are always made. I’m a synth guy, and don’t have a problem with only one input, I mostly record in mono anyway, unless hitting stereo FX pre-convertor. This is a damn fine pedal, but the Mooer Ocean Machine is only a bit more and is completely loaded, although not very small for a portable live rig, which you guys probably want. I’d like it if you could put the delay after the reverb should you choose, to make some really large spaces. In the end, its just algorithms. The Strymons are well made, but its all just code, one’s and zero’s.
@nylonsteel3 жыл бұрын
Does it alter the guitar signal in bypass?
