Ritchie's journey throughout this series has been incredible from a man lost in life, angry about it, and having no idea how to direct all these feelings except take it out on his friends and family. Him slowly breaking down, then building back up. Going on a journey of self discovery and finding his purpose. That Taylor Swift moment was one of the best in the series. Coupled together with the end shot of him staring at that every second counts sign and seeing it all just click in his head. Beautiful stuff.

Richie, in season 1, episode 1, was a character that I definitely hoped they would get rid of, quickly. I saw him as the "bad guy" of the show. But I have absolutely admire him now. It's like I'm a proud momma now, watching my kid turn from a C to A+ student! haahaa! Love your reactions! Can't wait for the last 2 of this show!

Yes the 3 of swords which is a tarot card icon meaning heartbreak, when one isfeeling deeply hurt and disappointed. " The heart has been pierced by the sharp blades of others’ hurtful words, actions and intentions, and they have inflicted intense emotions of pain, sadness, grief, and heartbreak. These events are often unexpected and come out of the blue, making them even more painful.' Now I wonder if this is a current meaning for syd, with Claire and carmys relationship and she's in the middle of such heartache. Carmys attention at the time was focused on Claire. But it could be a foreshadow. Carmy hurting Syd in some way that has to do with their business for season 3. It could be the interpretation of cooking. Either way it was intentional.

@@neonrays28I felt it could be referring to past pain. I have noticed Sydney is actually quite guarded since season 1. Anytime she is hurt or if someone checking if she is ok, she sort of pushes them away or says she is fine. If someone reveals something like Carmy going to Al-Anon or Marcus being tender on Zoom, Sydney will make a joke to distract them out of the heaviness of the moment. As in, she can’t handle it. I notice Carmen pushes her though when she gets guarded.

They have very natural & genuine chemistry that’s just blends so well with the show & carmy

I think they do have chemistry, for me the problem is the construction of Claire who is only a character that revolves around Carmy, she is cute, tender, kind but she is too good to be true and the show is full of complicated characters with heart, they have to develop her more, give her some story or not continue with her, I do not like characters that are only love interests, if they want Claire to be his "endgame" it has to be a real character and not just someone who revolves around another character.

I think it's sort of the point. Carmy is trying to make it fit because his brother and friends told him they should be together. He's trying to fake it until he makes it. Having girlfriends is what normal men do but so he thinks it will help him feel normal. But Carmy's not your average guy and he's carrying a lot of trauma around that he hasnt sorted through. He's not ready to be that vulnerable with another person. The only person he seems to feel safe to feel happy around right now is Syney when they are brainstorming together. It seems to be a combination of Sydney's passion and the creativity if what they are doing together that soothes him.

Couldn’t stand Richie in season 1. Now after he’s been humbled, he’s finally grown up and taking responsibility and learning restraint. I hope the girl who taught him to drive gets to see him drive. Looked like she had a thing for him.

I truly love that Sydney stands up for Claire’s dignity. “A girl that a friend?!” All offended. Exactly. I love how Claire has to tell Carmen to give Sydney her way on the menu, and it’s Sydney who has to tell Carmen that he needs to figure out that Claire is his girlfriend. 😂😂😂 Carmen finally made Claire dinner!
