The replica copied the works of mind. So Sense clone really don't pierce through the vital, just near the vital because Sense hates battle and she's a pacifist. Looks like the clone attack the vital but it's really not. If just arm or another limb, they won't give up easily.

Haha, you definitely have a point about the injuries in this show. They love to show injuries that absolutely look fatal at first glance (especially piercing someone's chest) and then treat them as minor injuries. I've kind of just accepted that the standard for what constitutes a major injury is different in Frieren's world than in our own, perhaps owing to the existence of healing magic. It seems that if you haven't disintegrated a sizeable chunk of them or sliced them in half, then it's probably not a lethal blow as long as a healer can get to them.

The author will portray death as long as it is not someone the main cast actively interacts with... Such as granat's son and the poor jail guard that was beheaded... But from the way the current manga has been going... Major death even from the side character feels imminent, like the author purposely makes the reader attached towards the side character in this exam...

​@@nelg1994 I'm not saying that no one dies in this show. I mean, the fact that everyone around Frieren dies sooner or later is kind of the point. I'm just saying that the non-lethal injuries shown (such as those resulting from Sense's replica's attacks) are often portrayed in such a way that they look like they should be lethal (and perhaps they would be without healing magic).

I love how Methode was pushed by Ferns replica. It looks like she got the upper hand because it seemed she was looking down at where ferns replica was at. Like she actually restrained her. Maybe.

I think frieren reversed gravity for fern. That's why she didn't recognise it as a spell. Or it could be a type of curse. They said mages can't detect curses.

Reverse gravity doesnt make sense since frieren as a small being has relatively miniscule amount of gravitational force in her unless youre a planet.
