Hi I am a retired tech for a County government in Florida. The Epson printer is identical to mine. You can buy a setup with bulk printer ink that includes a new print head for about 50.00 on EBay. I used it for printing large photos. These printers often set for a long time and the ink will dry up inside the print head. It can be next to impossible to clean. So if you have problems with that unit try the bulk ink rig. Those printers new were nearly 500 to 600.00 so you got a great deal!

@@jorejaha so there is atleast one of hou that knows quality when you see it ? Im a certified personal property appraiser and prices can fluctuate greatly for many reasons. I have sold them just like Eames chairs for a wide price range. Authenticity has a lot to fo with it. They definitely deserved a good look by even an amature

The HP 9650 has comps on Terapeak in the $150-250 range. Older model but still a nice large format. As with the other one, you'll want to make sure the head is good and not damaged. Most of the time it's dried/clogged ink.

In my experience Ink jet printers that have sat for years without being used are basically worthless unless you are a printer restoration expert. The ink jets get clogged and never work right again.

My boyfriend has said the best things about the Air Museum in Dayton. Definitely worth the trip down from SE Michigan, sounds like. We live in Colorado now and he says its better than the Wings Over the Rockies Air & Space museum. One day I hope I get to check it out. The tank museum in Bovington, England is also on our bucket list.
