In addition to the Veigar skin thematic; The artist that also made the Faker Ahri skins did an AMAZING job - it s just that the marketing team messed up completely and you cannot convince me otherwise. I ended up getting the pass at that time for like 30€, including the first of the 3 Ahri skins a mythic Leblanc skin and some other cool rolls I got from the orbs, that overall filled the cost.

Comet is unreliable and is only better 25 mins+ and even then it can miss and do nothing. There's an arguement where comet is a tiny bit better if enemy team is full of immobile bruisers or smth but Aery is just better 99% of the time and Comet does nothing in lane if opponent knows comet trick.

can someone explain why fumblewinter? I like the 25 cd on staff and you get the passive shield aswell and imo if they catch you on veigar you are dead anyway so i dont see building this one semi tank item at the beginning. But im also someone that build horizon second item on veigar for the cd and i like the item though on veigar questionable. But i think now ill just go staff into ionia boots then raba and afterwards either crit or void item. im also not sure about first strike now. I mainly play champs like veigar, xerath, vel and syndra and tbh i went first strike on all of em but now im not sure because the nerfs and commet is nice in lane or aeries and after core items you have your dmg on mages anyway you dont need it that much late. First strike goes off in late but thats when i dont necessarily need it. Im split ill have to play some games and see. Im not sure if i remember correctly but in laning phase i get like 300g with first strike and i dont know if its worth. But then again beside the gold the 7% dmg slaps on veigar and xer. Maybe im building to much cd im into cd too much.

fimbulwinter gives you the cd / tanlyness / mana issue that veigar need so you can build full ap items after. it's the best build currently and he has explained it in an earlier video when he played veigar too why

I’ve tried the fimbul build a few times, it’s always so low damage that even in matchups where it is theoretically good it feels bad. Would rather just go Ludens then any other item

Why buy swifties this game? You can’t outrun Hecarim, Ezreal can blink to you, Vex can tp to you via ult and you can’t outrun Senna or Kennen. Shouldn’t you have gone sorcs early for the pen instead?

I kinda hate rush fimblewinter on veig, its nice for the veig, but I feel like you just tickle until you have 2 items. It's good to neutralize your laning phase but terrible if your team needs you. And if the opposing mid can put rythm to the game yoou are basically useless until you reach rabadon. It's kinda like nasus jg, once you enter the game its nice but it relies on your team surviving for the first 20ish mn (ok nasus jg is way worse offentder than veig)
