While women may have their highest sex drive in their 40s, that is hardly their prime as determined by the sexual marketplace. Compromise really is the solution… as a woman in my 30s who experienced this problem with my last boyfriend. She’s gotta figure out why sex is the main go-to for her to feel intimacy/desirability. Sure, she can say she’s in her prime, but sex also serves a psychological and emotional function in a relationship… he’s gotta step it up a bit, and she’s gotta back down a little. If that doesn’t work, just ask to open up the relationship… and somehow he’ll find it in him to add that extra day

So the compromise had to come from both sides… or we could always renegotiate that part of our relationship. I'm 48 and I ran through a lot in my younger years so I "Seen some things". My wife (also 48), be shaking her head because she can't keep me off of her. Yes, time has taken a toll and some pain has set in but I be working through all that! If I die I die!!! Now, it might not be twice a day but it's definitely 3- 4 times a week. Recently we hit 3 in one day. It's all about the chemistry.

We saw it and heard it but they addressed it with a no and why not. The misperception of sex in your forties is funnier and the banter light hearted - even in the comments. We all heard the question but it is clear that the woman on the other end is not just in need of advice but also therapy. Blasting her in the comments would only contribute to instability. She says she trust the guys and so we hope she takes care of herself after seeing their alarm over her thoughts. Blasting her might make it less likely she will hear and follow their advice. Then there is a man out there unknowingly dealing with an unhinged woman.
