Getting the voice of a negative and narcissistic parent out of your head as an adult is very hard, but it can be done. I'm in my sixties and I cracked it - and and banished the toxic effects it brings to your daily life. This is one of the few people ive liked on this show. Not selfish, not narcissistic or spoilt. A normal person, who really did have a cold, unloving mother, which led to her low self-esteem. I hope she keeps on singing.

How refreshing to see someone who reacts and deals with things maturely, and doesn't try to deny things or hide behind flimsy justifications for her situation. Really hope she managed to keep up that great work

Would love to see a follow up - this was filmed what, 10 or 20 years ago? I wonder how she got on. Rooting for you if you're reading this!

Beautiful Lady, and being really honest with herself, there will be a lifetime change. I love the nail analogy. Whatever works to move you forward is bloody brilliant.👏👏👏👏

I don’t know why the psychologist gets so much hate in each episode. I think he’s actually really helpful but some people just refuses to open up. I would consider seeing a financial psychologist. It’s easy to tell people to just stop spending or stop eating junk or just stop drinking but with every addiction, there are often underlying issues.

After watching this episode it is clear her friends are users.... take take take... and as for rudo its clear her upbringing gave her low self esteem that she trys to cover with being extravagant beyond her means, she needs to vaule herself more and needs to stop papering over the cracks from her childhood. We all have things from childhood we bring into adulthood, but having FAITH IN GOD is the only answer.
