Thank you to you and also your fiancée for sharing this special moment with us. It’s very interesting and quite different from the way it’s done here. My daughter was married in November and the official photos were taken after they were married while all the guests were chatting and waiting for the reception meal. So only one outfit….although my daughter did change into her dancing dress after the ceremony and outdoor photo shoot was over. You both look great by the way. My best wishes to you both.

I love, love, love the way Koreans prepare for marriage. Taking pictures before the wedding makes so much sense! I even like the structure of an emcee announcing the bride and groom for the ceremony! As always, so interesting to learn your customs. In Australia the photos are taken on the day of the wedding, usually after the wedding and before the wedding celebration meal, and the guests wait. You both look fantastic! Thank you for sharing🫶🤩

Same here, at the wedding day, less show room shine. But I have seen these kind of photo shoots in China. At a special park known for it’s scenery brides flocked to get their photos taken. For example laying on the grass - spread eagle - between the flower beds..Seems to be an East Asian custom.

In my country from the ones I’ve attended, photos are taking in the day photos, in the morning at the house of the families of the both grooms with family,during the ceremony after the ceremony more family group photos at the church and after at the venue, men don’t wear makeup and I think women go to the headdresser the day before and do touch ups on the day, the weeding day is usually all day but I think there’s now a new thing of doing the ceremony only in the afternoon and go to the venue only for dinner but I’m not sure.

Like in the states the groom does not see the bride in the wedding dress until she walks down the aisle…it supposed to be bad luck if the groom sees the bride in the dress. So pictures are usually taken after the wedding …it usually takes an hour. Then you eat and then there’s a dance…so the whole wedding last from 3 pm to 1 am so it’s very interesting to see how weddings work over there. Again thank you for sharing. All of that sounds exhausting! When I husband and I were engaged, we took pre marital photos, but we had a friend of ours take them, and we wore more casual clothes…well, we were both broke college kids at the time! Yours looked so professional and well done! Beautiful!
