Come on she's 34 it's not like she's a little 19 or 21 year old girl. She's a grown woman who is ready for an adult mature relationship. Honestly once I hit my thirties I also became more attracted to older men because they were mentally and emotionally more in the same space I was relationship-wise than guys my own age who are still out there wanting to date around and mess with multiple women and not settle down and be serious. Plus older men are usually a lot more established and financially stable and able to provide which yes is something most women look for without having to be gold diggers. Or they are retired and have much more time to spend with you even if they don't have a ton of money. Quality time together is really important to me

She doesn't seem to have like daddy issues that you would typically think of when a younger woman goes for an older guy. She seems like a very mature woman and obviously that's who she connected with so I don't see the problem. I've never had a problem with age Gap relationships. Not between older men and younger women anyway. It may seem like a double standard but I do find it a lot weirder when it's a much older woman with a younger man. Maybe not necessarily women today but throughout history it's been a well-known fact that girls and women tend to be more emotionally mature than guys their age and are typically ready for the things like marriage and family and settling down and being in a serious relationship before again young men that same age. Seems to me it isn't judgement that observers are doing. People can be attracted for unnumbered causes, but that doesn't mean their relationship isn't unusual or odd, or even functional. Emotional "age" has a lot to do with it. At 19, I got involved with a widow 27 years my senior. She had kids from age 7 to 24 still at home. It wasn't long before I realized what her true interest in me was, and I kept pushing her to marry someone more appropriate to her circumstances. It wasn't love that was between us, though briefly there was a measure of passion. The Czech have a proverb that applies to such women: “Women don't know what they want, and they will not stop until they get it” When children enter the picture, the outlook changes a lot. What bothers me is having children when the father is close to retirement. Sons expect and need to engage their fathers in mutual interests, especially physical activities. If he can't there's a bit of loss there. At 44 I simply could not keep up with my son's sports activities. He was always able to run 3-5 miles at a time. I could only manage 3 laps around the track my senior year. Throwing a football for 10-15 minutes was my limit. A classmate was having children in his 60s, and though he is happy with his late start, his sons and daughter are very likely to see him buried before they get to college. He's been taking 1-2 hour naps during the day for the last decade, and still working to support them at 75 yoa. Once when Yellowstone seemed ready for another blow, he was thinking about building a cabin retreat not far from the epicenter. I asked him what his children would do if they survived an eruption but he did not. He had not even thought of what care his children needed if he were to suddenly expire. Those kids have never met their grandparents, uncles, aunts, and extended family on their dad's side. They were all dead before they were born, or soon after. Having those connections to extended family is part of what's missing in American culture. And it shows every time they get on social media to yammer about relationship issues.

They didn’t invite my mom to be in the show, I was 22 with a 4.5 year old son and he was 50 with a 3.5 son. We were in similar places in life despite our age, we just had different life paths before then…🫶🏻

I've always wondered why dating an older man means daddy issues🤔I was never close to the man my mom created me with but all the men I date are always younger than me.
