As a person who didn't know what to do with themselves when I was younger (suboptimal home life didn't help my self-esteem), and then raise the child at home for a number of years - trust me when I say this - he is right. It's never too late, I went back to school in my late 40s and I'm embarking on a new career, but doing this at my age, is harder, there's more competition with young people, and I have less time to make money. Heed this warning, people in your twenties.
