i had a friend in eighth grade who got pregnant. i initially thought she got rped but she told me it was consensual (she was 14). i saw her at a store and she was crying and asked where menstrual products were and then ended up asking where the pregnancy tests were bc they weren't in that area. i bought them for her along with condoms so she could be safe next time. she ended up getting an abortion

Everyone (when I say everyone I mean our family, teachers, school staff, and just random ppl out 'n' about) was judging her and accusing her of having sex, sneaking boys in through our bedroom window, watching porn, ect. No one in the family (besides me and my sister) accepts the baby our treats her like a member of the family. Idk first-hand how it is, but I have witnessed first-hand what its like and it's hard. I feel so bad for other teen moms going through this and just in general. Hang in there. You've got this. It may not seem like it now… but it will get better. Yeah duh.. At that age guys only liked you for your looks.. People change alot…Only a very few are committed to staying with the first girl they got pregnant by. Girls are just a number to a guy lol because they need credit to practice until they actually are ready to settle down with someone they actually love. How do i know this? Ok this guy he got a girl pregnant at 16 and i found out through him talking and showing pictures of his son. We work together as that girl he met in school…Anyways, it funny because when we first met he was 18 and although he grew he didn’t seem mature at the time.. He was love bombing me, he was flirting and touching all women etc and he wasn’t serious at the time even though he liked me. The thing though is as our bond grew so much so did his heart.. How? Well once his friend ask him “ Why isn’t he helping me?” When i offered to help him because i liked him lol. His response was.. “ She said she will help?” And than a few minutes later he thank me. Fast forward now.. He seems so scared to lose me. He more caring, he steps in to help me even when i say i got it we fight who will do it lol and his friend dont even have to tell him to help me now..he go do it on his own. He alot more protective and he opening up to me rather than putting on a face.. The best of all he forgot his baby momma. Like yeah. Of course he going to see his son but it more of her responsibility compare to him. He has full freedom. As all he does is pay child support and he can be with someone he truly love. Now i never said he didn’t like his baby momma because there was obvious attraction,but base on how he’s treating me and really scared of losing me it like he found out what TRUE LOVE IS…Now he does love his son and he is responsible to still be in his child life but he have no feelings for his baby momma. Also how do i know? Because i gave him plenty of time to leave he always come back to me and if we avoid each other for so long.. he withdraws as his family get worry so much. Also i saw how he changed into A Mature Adult that wants to wait. It sucks because i want him soooo badly, but he wants to wait until he finish his career which isnt long lol and provide for me the right way and give me all his love and support rather then knowing its just lust and selfish sex just to please himself. What i am saying is…People change especially guys. They aren’t mature at age 25 and younger. Also girls don’t understand… even if they made mistakes so young why would a guy waste all his youth on one women that he accidentally got pregnant by so young when he missed out screwing it out until he got tired of that life and knowing when to give that life all up. He became an alcoholic because he’s depressed. He screwed up his youth and although he love his kids it just he wasn’t really ready for it.. It was forced by accident and now he have to live by it for years… When you drink the same milk for years it get boring..

The scariest part is the female body physically isnt ready at 14 for safe birth. A big factor in maternal mortality rates is the age of mothers. Less developed can mean very young mothers. I'm so glad she went to a dr right away instead of hiding it. 🎉 responsible action right there
@themaximumcreation6 ай бұрын
I'm not saying this is okay but scientifically once you have a period your body is ready for conception. Ages ago (again not saying this is ok) girls as young as age 12/13 were being married off to men to have children and make families this is so when the men die the women would still be young enough to care for the children Also you're right about maternal death rates dealing with woman's age but it is mainly older woman (geriatrics pregnancies) starting from the early age of 38
@sallypanda10146 ай бұрын
14 isn’t that young . Most girls have had their periods for a few years by then and their bodies are developing /developed already. Only in most recent days has teen pregnancy been taboo. Historically woman have been having babies much earlier than we are now . Im not saying girls should be popping out babies in their teens though.
@Howler286 ай бұрын
Im not talking mentally, I mean physically. Do you realize how long you need to be exposed to certain hormones to finish the biological maturity process. Unlike men who have access to their hormones all month on 24 hour cycle it take a woman a month for the same hormone cycle, which only starts being produced after menstruation starts😅 Biologically female bodies take longer to mature from start of puberty to physical maturity due to limited access to hormones. Just because it can do something doesn't mean it should. Kids these days are getting periods in 1st grade (7yo) should they have kids because of a period? @sallypanda1014

Yeah it explains that they won’t kick their kid out. I would be supportive as well.
@AngelaWilliams-l6r2 ай бұрын
@@Canadiangrammarpoliceit has nothing to do with kicking their kid out and everything to do with teaching your children about protecting themselves if they decide to have sex. You’d be surprised how many teenagers (and sometimes early 20s) have no clue what birth control is or how to obtain it. In the US, you don’t need parental consent to obtain birth control, even for someone as young as 13 or 14. There are states that are obligated to contact the parents to inform them but consent isn’t needed to get it. They do offer sex ed class at school but a parent has to sign off on it. Those who refuse to allow their kids to attend are usually those who think young teenagers aren’t sexually active or that the school is overstepping by teaching it (yet they also refuse to teach them at home). Outside of non consensual/forced sex, ignorance is the only reason teenagers get pregnant so young. It’s not something you celebrate or get happy about because it shouldn’t happen to begin with. It’s totally a reflection on the parents.

Ok this guy he got a girl pregnant at 16 and i found out through him talking and showing pictures of his son. We work together. As for that girl..he met her in school…Anyways, its funny because when we first met he was 18 and although he grew up he didn’t seem yet mature at the time.. He was love bombing me, he was flirting and touching all women etc and he wasn’t serious at the time even though he liked me. The thing though is as our bond grew so much, so did his heart.. How? Well once his friend ask him “ Why isn’t he helping me?” When i offered to help him because i liked him lol. His response was.. “ She said she will help?” And than a few minutes later he thank me. Fast forward now.. He seems so scared to lose me. This is why it’s important to have real conversations with your kids about what could happen if they do the thing with a boy. My mom had me at 18 and I’m glad she was always honest about the struggles of being a young mom and how my grandma had to raise both of us. She spoke to me like an adult as soon as I started my 🩸 and gave me a detailed run down of what that meant. She didn’t glamorize it, and I also lived it. Young girls, this isn’t cute. Don’t do it you don’t have Kylie Jenner money.
