I loooove these videos!!! They really show women and young girls that we can do anything we set our minds to. This makes me want to look for flight lessons! It's very cool to see all these different women doing amazing unique things!

Wow, one of the better videos on this subject! Congratulations. And a very lovely young lady doing something she clearly loves! You are to be commended. Yes, here in the U.K., you pay a landing fee at most airports, so to be able to freely fly in the US as you describe would be wonderful. At the age of 60 now, I got into Aviation far too late to do much about it for commercial purposes - but I still hope to last long enough to get my PPL one day! For now, it's been 25 years of Flight Simulator, flying everything from the Cessna 182 (my favourite light aircraft) up to the Boeing 747 which I beta tested for Microsoft in the U.K. some years ago. What I like about you and what clearly comes across in this video is how fun it is for you. And as others have said, the female thing should not even matter. I have dozens of airline pilot friends, male and female. They are all professionals and they happily share their knowledge and skill as well as their friendship. I have the highest respect for pilots, yourself included. Thank you for sharing your thoughts. It would be a dream for me to fly in the US one day. Take care. Regards - Lee

I just started learning how to fly! Just moved in my dorm room last tuesday. Made it to lesson 4 in three days. Very fun stuff. I should have my pilots license by the end of October! At my school we have a female flight instructor and three female students out of 16 students in my class.

I don't understand why you have to put 'female' in the title. I know that piloting is a male-dominated activity, but you're kind of enforcing the "only men can do this" stereotype by acknowledging her gender.

She could be my instructor. I trained quite a few female pilots in the airlines. And they were good. Enjoyed working with them. All are now senior Captains or have retired. Besides, she can serve drinks on the training flights....Just kidding. Now if everybody would skip the PC crap we would be better off. She paid her dues just like the guys did.

I think - You`re very good flight instructor, but the glide path of approach is a little high in a video, may be i`m wrong, because this is a camera angle. :-)

aFaxMachine ThatisAwsome They are built as trainers. Therefore they have a use. They aren't the most produced aircraft in history for no reason. (Over 40,000 Cessnas have been built).
