We launched some 104 satellites in one go, many other countries gave their satellites to launch, at ISRO 3) the money they invest in such projects is not destroyed by any means. It flows in the economy of the country. Have you studied the infrastructure development and it's Impacts on economy in economics? This works in the same manner. People get employment through this project money. 4) I'll quote a example to make this fourth point understand In second world war America had radar technology. They used it for Navy operations. With very limited ships and weapons in sea Americans managed to survive in those operations, not only survived but changed the war equation. Second example, In 1999, operation vijay had difficulties related to GPS. (as it was not our set up) minute changes in the gps data lead to wrong aim. After that we worked on our own GPS NAVIK the indian gps, our own gps. We don't know what we will need and when we will need that. It is something which is very essential but we do not feel it's urgency. PS. I used to think like you do. But my opinion changed. I have some more reasons for space exploration but it really takes time to type :) hope, you find this helpful

Peace be upon you all. Dear Brothers and Sisters, I would like to and prefer to be "with peace" as taught by rasulullah sallallahu alaihis salam. Holy Quran and other holy books Torah, Zabur and Injil are ment for all human kind in this world. While interpreting the intent in these holy books, we have to see with what is the intention behind the Law and command given by Almighty Allah through his beloved prophets peace be upon them all. Being a non muslim, I'm trying to understand the holy books in a better way than understanding in isolation. However, my commantary is not intended to hurt any one in the name of religion and all prophets peace be upon all of them. I'm trying to understand the ISLAM religion, which preaches Peace to the world. Fighting with in our family dilutes our strength. We can pray Almighty God for help in this matter rather than debating with out an end. Advocates has to talk or debate any matter not in isolation but by considering Anthropological factots, Sociological factors, Psychological factors, Historical factors, Economic factors, Geographic factors, Demographic factors with respect to Theological factors. Emotional speaches or writings causes deficit in the deliberations. So being an Advocate, I should deliver my opinion on the basis of understanding very carefully and legitimately.
