These are fun stories, and it good to hear the sequel. my one gripe is that I hate when these stories have characters give up range superiority to engage in anime style fights. Given that the characters are simply human, engaging a 10 ft tall monster with two short swords, let alone being able to parry it's blows, just takes away from the story. from what's been established in from this and the last, at best, she would of been knocked away with a broken arm and broken swords, at worst it would of shattered her body and killed her. good narrations though, and minus a few other plots issues it was a good story

Is this the origin story for the previous one where they already had the sphere and upgraded suits? If I remember there was a fight in a Russian underground fight club and the sphere burst in and saved the guy fighting then upgraded his suit and he went on an absurd killing rampage

6:40 The V-22 osprey crossed the Atlantic or for certain flew for an 18 hour long distance flight for an urgent mission? That doesnt seem likely. Even with multiple midair refueling i would think a faster and longer ranged aircraft would be used to make the long distance and then the last leg via a different aircraft like an Osprey or other. I know this sounds pedantic but it came to mind and had to put it out there. This series has been highly entertaining thusfar 😁👍

This latest tale.. Very reminiscent of the game anthology, Dark Pictures House of Ashes. Similar premise, soldiers go searching under the sand of 'Afghanistan' and they encounter ancient Sumerian temple, flying vampires that eat flesh as well as blood and like to toy with prey, crashed alien spaceship, mountain of eggs.. I am not accusing anyone of plagiarism.. just pointing out that maybe the author played this game too, and it massively inspired him for this installment.

I have played the game, and it did play a little inspiration on the storyline as i really liked the game. I wanted the creatures to be more like the aliens from the movie as you can tell by the references. Also i wanted there to be a boss battle with the one at the end similar to the witcher. Plus i wanted to create a different kind of character something wierd and interesting and this the sphere was introduced something from star trek discovery except in my story it talks and has a mind of its own. I love story driven video games as im sure alot of people do and just want to do my own take on things. I dont want to offend anyone or be accused of stealing someone elses work. The characters and the lore i have created i put a great deal of effort in to, to not be similar to other work created by other people. I hope that helps. 🙂
