Honestly, the first time I fought this boss was after I had done most of the game, so I was super stacked, and thought it was a pushover. Came back in the early game in another file and died liked eighteen times before giving up and “coming back later”.

I'm definitely bad at this boss! I have to wait until I've got some better nails and strong magic. HK is a fun game because everyone who starts playing is TERRIBLE and thinks it's the hardest game, but you end up practicing and improving so quickly. I remember I couldn't beat Hornet for the first 20-30 tries. Now I can do it in my sleep.

it's all about praticing, my friend, you just need to relax while fighting him and focus on hitting him between his claw swings, and don't get too far from him, it will make you unable to swap sides, and take it easy, this boss is one of the worsts when you start playing this game, because of his non-linear attacks, you got this, bro💪🏿💪🏿

Just keep trying man! And always remember you can come back to this fight with shade dash once you get it you can dash right before the sludge falls on you it really helps, plus you’re doing great for keyboard it’s a lot harder🔥

This actually looks like you already have a decent amount of control over the boss, being able to doge many of the attacks. I don't think it should take you too long, it definitely looks well within reach for your skill level.

I assume you found this optional boss near the beginning of the game. He’s HARD. I tried several times, but lost. Came back much later after beating several bosses and getting a few upgrades. No shame in putting this off until later.

*Real talk:* I thought the same thing when I first started playing. One of my favorite examples is when the easiest boss in the game by far killed me like five times before I figured out the patterns. But now, several hundred hours later, I'm stomping through no-damage challenges, permadeath mode, and the full-game boss rush like they're nothing. You'll get better. Just take it from me.
