I usually disagree when i hear this. My cousin in Buru with the wife drive online Taxis. She does day time, he does night, they have 3 daughters, 1 is finishing Nairobi Uni this year, the other is in 1st year KU, last is in form 3. They manage to pay rent, fees, and feed the whole family and they have a small mjengo gling on in Kiambu, With a Vits 1300 cc. Zero loans. Hii kitu needs a lot of discipline and money management learning.

If one stood by the heading or intro, one would lose hope, but what I like is the soberness of the interviewer and head-on questions that ultimately keep it clear that after all the business is not that bad but every driver has his/her own target .

Nice interview, what I learn from your guest is negative energy despite he is making 2k per day, once he change mind set he will recognize how much potential ahead. Dere akue n mind set kama ya dere wa matatu.

Team up with 10 drivers/cars to start with. Pick an area. Market yourselves in that area. Take charge of your destiny. We the customers also don't like how rude Uber/Bolt drivers are because of the poor fares. We'd rather pay more for happier drivers and more accountability and better customer service.
