It started as a support network created by a lesbian, and for a few years it was actually pretty wholesome, mostly being focused around self-help and forming supportive networks that could help people to get out of a situation they really didn't want to be in. Then there was a period where the modern incels were becoming more common, but they were still only just a small core within a larger positive community. Eventually the original community just decided it was a lost cause, and that their time and energy should be spent on helping people, not clinging onto a sinking ship.

@@att2075 you literally just stated why people freak out when women and children are grouped together - "they don’t really have the capacity to consider that for themselves". women will understandably not like it and get rightfully upset when they are consistently told that they don't have the capacity for rational thought or the ability to make their own decisions. it's infuriating to hear especially when there's zero concrete evidence of this being true.

The majority of the women are chasing after a small minority of the men. This is an issue in society that needs to be addressed, incels are part of that wider issue. If you deny that then you're a fool. Young people arent coupling up and having families anymore. If you go back to when our grandfathers were young, sexlessness among young men was alnost a quarter of what it is now. That is a huge shift and cannot be ignored. @whyioughta178
@whyioughta178 4 жыл бұрын
DeadlyNeedle ! There’s different forms of sexism, yes there are some who may not treat a woman the same as a man in a situation where that shouldn’t matter, but there’s also this; Believing and trying to justify that woman shouldn’t be leaders or biologically couldn’t be leaders is absolutely ridiculous, it just as pitiful of a excuse as when Christians would say that African americas were inferior in the name of god, to try and justify slavery. Woman and men can be whoever they want to be and shouldn’t be defined by their gender. I understand that women and men are built different but if a woman wants to train and give it her all, maybe soon we’ll see the strongest person on earth be a woman, and if a man wants to be a more feminine than the average girl than so be it. People can do whatever they want to do, if that’s fitting or not fitting with their gender roles, whatever makes them feel comfortable for themselves, than that is just. The world is changing and women don’t want to be stay a home mother anymore, but if they do that is fine and accepted but NO woman should be forced to and people (like Derrick) who think this way often do, as with past generations, forced women to marry and have children when they didn’t want to. So I am weary of people like him, who carry the ideologies that women shouldn’t be befriended because of their gender and that they should go back to the way things were- where men were on top and women had to obey, because that’s all this really is, thats the real thinking behind this, I believe, and is mostly likely the reason why women tend to stray from him. No one wants to be in a relationship with someone who doesn’t think they’re equals, could be friends or both be leaders together, despite gender. Why else would men, but barley ANY women have this ideology? Because it puts men on top, women don’t want to go back to those days because it was terrible and made many unhappy, and had to be ‘the perfect house wife’. We must recognize that it is hard for a woman to be big in this world because it has always been a mans world and we must recognize that. Women in 3rd world and 1st world can see this, if that is rising to power in work positions (being taken serious in a job)or trying to fight to be able to go to school like any other boy. Women have been oppressed in many society’s, socially and physically through history. Maybe life isn’t hard for the average 1st world woman of today but there is a history and it still affects the women of today, just as the history of slavery still affects the black people of today. I understand that there’s having Christian or traditional values but people like him must understand that the is just not the way anymore and may be even offense to most women, because it trying to bring us back to a time we’re women were oppressed, socially and systematically, with trying and not being able to get a job on their own and make it in the world without a husband or being forced into marriage. If he finds a girl who is willing to have that type of relationship than that is fine, thats not my business. But to sit here and act like that thinking isn’t backwards is just a lie. I hope I don’t offend you or anything this is just what I and many others believe. :)

I'm currently doing some research on the incel community bc I might write my bachelors on it and the more you find out the more you pitty their mindset (not their actions tho),, I always had this picture that incels are overly confident men that hated women but in reality they're just self-destructive, isolated and desperate men that are sexually frustrated and search for a place to belong (a lot of them probably do hate women and 15 minutes on a incel forum had me question my faith in humanity lol)

I don’t understand how he is an incel, when he was literally raised by a single mom-
@kamilyakadyr7063
@kamilyakadyr7063 3 жыл бұрын
it's a classic story actually, he might have developed hatred/insecurity towards women, reflecting every woman to his mother. Maybe his mom was abusive, irresponsible, an addict or neglectful to him and perhaps that created an image of women for him, that all women are like that, and he should be protected from them. Single mothers tend to have financial problems, unable to provide their families, and that could have created a "weak" image of a person for him. Notice he said "I love my mom, but I wouldn't consider her a role model" - a clear sign of dysfunction. Sometimes it can be a reflection of an abusive father - his dad could have abused his mom before he left, and he's influenced by his dads behaviour. Incels are a product of instability, very low-self esteem, daddy/mommy issues and loneliness. They blame their problems on a certain group, unwilling to change themselves instead, because it's always easy to move your responsibility over to someone else.

@@kamilyakadyr7063 It isn't some single factor analysis that covers the entire story. It's very clear he's been pushed to the margins of society for a long time and that led him down the path to these views, it doesn't just come from "mom bad I hate women now". Isolating it to "just one bad experience" is just dismissing people with an actual issue. They're tossed aside by everyone, whether you think that's justified or not, and then they think like this. He says it himself in this very video, it isn't just rejection by women, it's wholesale rejection in most aspects of life, he probably didn't do well in school, he probably wasn't able to get a good job, he was unattractive so he couldn't find a partner, and this led him down this path of slowly regressing to a more traditionalist worldview. If you want incels to get better, telling them they're bad people does not help, actually listening and trying to understand what they're saying does. I say this about every group of people that society just dismisses, whether it's incels or nazis, they didn't just become one over night, there was a series of events that led them there, and usually there's a very human and realistic reason they got there that isn't just "mommy didn't love him enough" or "he got rejected by his crush in highschool". If you think his traditionalistic worldview is bad, why not try to actually understand why he thinks that rather than just saying "you're sexist you hate women", or minimizing it to just him being a loser with mommy issues.

I saw him on another video and I really didn't like his attitude, but in this video he opened up better. I really respect his efforts. What you feel is what you feed your brain with. And If your brain interprets that you're not safe it just makes you hurt more to protect you form the outside world radiation and keep home. This is the definition of being an incel . Basically you don't feel safe, and you are vulnerable.. And because of this you're not visible to others! You need to change this! You cannot change this by being a tougher guy. You need to define what your pain means to you and reestablish your safety zone in your mind. Once your brain calms down these viral thought cycles in your mind you will have the opportunity to grow and learn. Then you will be able to walk away from your pain an be you. I wish you the best! *When I say pain, I mean pain, loneliness is painful. Feeling stuck is painful.

Women are always on "my body my choice" wen a dude judges their body but then wen a woman judges a man's body, everyone there laughs at that and no one points out how wrong it is and that is why men get angry. The same reason women get angry for men judging their bodies is the same way men feel wen women are judging their bodies and that's why we use ur guy's logic against u. I can say the same thing abt men. If a man has sex with 5 ppl, we as a society praise him but when a woman does the same with the same amount society shames her and it's only angry women that go off to defend her(much like the last situation I stated). At the end of the day, those angry men are justified in the same way of those angry women because we both know if the roles were reversed in these situations no one wud care and everyone would laugh their asses off

guy had a point with the whole "brighten up the day of someone lonely without having to date them". confident/extroverted people should aspire to do that. BUT there's an undeniable majority of incels who complain about the friendzone to an unreasonable degree. they misread genuine friendly behavior as flirting, get their hopes up and get really mad later, insulting and antagonizing the woman. and although the big majority wouldn't resort to violence or some other kind of sabotage, the risk is always there. although many women are shallow and just want to lead men on, there's also a logical reason why many of us don't usually give compliments/strike a friendly conversation with guys, unless we intend to sleep with them.

Creating an Incel starts from rejection and childhood trauma. And when rejection is constant and you're basically singled out as an unattractive individual, you tend to form this self-hatred mindset and you blame your issues on the opposite gender because of constant rejection. His views are understandable, a simple "hi" or just acknowledging someone's existence can really brighten someone's day. Loneliness sucks and people are desperate to find a way to fill that void. It's unfortunate he's stuck in this mindset, it's not easy to overcome.

Also tip for any lonely guy: I have always gone the extra mile to talk to those lonely guys. @Truhandle91

Women aren't equal to men and men aren't equal to women. Realizing that we are different and accepting the fact that it's not a problem is what people are missing. How boring would the world be if everything would taste the same? It's the same with people. The word equal is a synonym for same.. And every time I say men and women aren't equal someone is screaming back at me saying I don't believe in equal rights and assume I put women down. But equal always needs another word to attach a meaning, equal rights, equal income, equal weight, equal height, equal health, equal sex, equally beautiful,.. And by that no men and women are very different and that's good.. Both have their strengths and weaknesses and the good thing is that a lot of them are on the opposite side meaning that by getting together we either better ourselves and help each other with our strengths or we destroy each other with our weakness

He’s the perfect example of this he sits there complaining about not getting women but he’s not willing to change anything about himself. SnowFrog most women will consider you. There are ways to attract women without having good looks. Appearance is apart of it. We won’t want to date someone who doesn’t care about their hygiene. However, we also care about how we are treated and whether the person respects our boundaries.

I think being an incel is a mindset and whether or not the wanna admit it it’s a group they chose to be in. I know kind and respectful men who have never had sex and they aren’t bitter or angry at women about it 🤷🏾‍♀️

Those kind and respectful men you mentioned are by definition incels, since incel means that someone cannot get laid. People assume the word incel with evil person or misogynist etc. Most people approaching conversations with incels are ignorants and assume they are evil. This is why this guy is so hated in the comment senction.

That's the truth, I feel like people don't want to see that their misguided views stem from the societal standards and various traumatic events that these people go through.
