I'm back in Boston! (My vlog

It's been a way long time since I last uploaded a vlog and it's about damn time I said hello. So here's me, in my current incarnation, with my current thoughts spilling out of my mind, unfiltered as always. In this video I share a little about why I stopped the project, what I'm focusing on now and how I'm looking to support others on their journeys.

wow simply wow. I am a indian who has been living in America for many years and since last year I am having health issues and after spendign 6 months seeing doctors in the US and no diagnosis I am now here in india for some R&R and trying to heal. I landed 3 days ago and while I dont have answers its serendipitous that I landed on your video and have just been watching all of them and the way you summed it up in this video that "we have to take for ourselves and that means conserve our energies". This is no coincidence and at place I am in right now which is bit of a unknown and sketchy of not knowing that statement is god sent . Thank you so much. I am going to take this a a sign and borrow some of the immense good energies you have released thru your vlogs. You are a blessed soul and I thank you from the bottom of my heart. Over and Out! Heey Erica. Glad to see you again. I super follow you from São Paulo, Brazil. I would like to thank you for the consideration to the viewers when you decided not posting anymore. You could simply not tell anyone, but no. You told us. And it was great. And honestly. You did the RIGHT thing. If you keep "wasting" your energy on looking for places with internet, wi-fi, fast connections etc....to keep posting daily videos....you wont enjoy the experience to yourself. And this is what should happen. It was beautiful to see your evolution. And I wouldnt admire you as much as I do, if you had continued the posts.....you proved to be such a real person. And you showed us that we should have our own and personal moments which should not be shared. And the funniest thing was that it was clear that Índia taught you this lesson. It was simply AMAZING !

Hey William Perez I just want to say thank you for your post and thank you for understanding me. Going into this project I never realized how much of my energy it would take while I was on the road, and looking back on my early journals I expressed a lot of stress about feeling constantly behind on posting. You hit the nail on the head about hunting down wifi connections and spending too much time stressing out over upload speeds rather than out living my adventure. I'm happy that I did (/am doing) this project and I'm grateful for all the inspiration I've been able to impart on others, but as I continue forward now I know I need to be more cautious about how much of my energy I give away in the name of giving to others. Thanks for your kind comment and for saying hello from Brazil. That's so cool. :)

I booked my trip to India back in January. About a month later I found your channel and followed you till now. You really are an inspiration! I am in India now until mid July staying with a family in Pune. I feel like it's gonna be kinda hard utilizing all of my time. But so far (after 4 days) I feel like I've seen a lot & I want to learn as much as possible! I'm excited for the next 30 days

people comes from around world to visit India to meditate & yoga, & also to learn astrology ..if u been to Delhi u shud visit Indian intrude of studies where u will meet a very old professor of astrology who not only gives genuine guide but also makes u learn astrology if u want... but our govrnment shud do more efforts to keep your journey memorable..hope u wud have enjoyed your stay in incredible India!

All the time I hoped nothing bad happend to you but I knew somehow everything is ok, you just needed time for your self. It was a good decicion to stop you video blog for this long. 2 or 3 month ago I thought for sure we will see not only one video of this holyfestival with the color bags throwing at each other which you wanted to attend. But now, nothing. But it is ok, we are still alive. An yes, your statement that a no! have to be acceptet is good

Thanks Jeronimo I appreciate that. I really needed a break, I got pretty sick and I actually spent Holi in the Bhogal neighborhood in Delhi doing some much needed recuperation. I regretted I didn't get to go somewhere more fun like Pushkar but I will save that for next time :) Where did you spend Holi?

Don't get me wrong and I mean no offence by this but, I don't like it when foreigners travel to India just to go on a 'spiritual journey/adventure'. You go there thinking everyone has a horrible life and you set out on a journey to become more spiritual and less materialistic. You guys don't understand the complexity of the Indian culture and history, so on the surface you might see a land which is filled with poverty, pollution, social and economic problems, but you wont understand how the mentality of the people bears many similarities with people from the west. You will happily go back to your comfy condos in Boston/LA/New York while we Indians (1.2 billion) can carve out a life out of all the above problems and still be more content than Americans. My point being, it just comes across as fake. And again, im not talking about you in particular cuz you actually tried to understand the Indian way of life beyond 'spirituality'. We're normal, just like you guys and not lab rats to use for your projects :P

Vlad Plays 1) You don't like it when foreigners just go on "spiritual journey" in India. 2) To you it comes across as fake because they go back to their comfy lifestyle. 3) Although Indians live with gazzilion problems, their mentality is the same as other 1st World humans. 4) So, to conclude, Indians are not lab rats for foreigner's projects. OMFG. If life was all about making sense, you will find things hard. Thankfully for you, we accommodate all kinds. :)
