Thank you my friend. It’s great to be home and getting back to working with the bees again… although I did do a lot of beekeeping while I was away in Indiana. God bless you and bee well.

Welcome back! Long time no see…speaking of catching up, I’m confused, you have two different properties? Is the one with kubo you just leveled going to be future site of new home as well? Take care..😊
@beekeepinginparadise5935 Жыл бұрын
Thank you. I’m so happy to be back. To clear things up, other than my home here we have 2 “farm” properties. The one with the leveled up kubo is where I’m planting a new fruit orchard, already have coconuts and will put the bees full time. I’m not planning to build another house there. We like living in town near all our friends and family. The kubo is there just in case I ever need to spend the night on the farm and it’s a nice place to hang out and escape the heat. God bless you my friend. Thanks for the questions. Keep them coming.

Hi Brent. Not sure if you should make fire on top of that concrete, it might just explode. From my experience. Take care.
@beekeepinginparadise5935 Жыл бұрын
Thanks for the tip. I’ve never heard of explosive concrete. I know a lot of people who cook on concrete all the time without issue. I’ll be careful. Thanks for the tip. God bless
@jomabgi Жыл бұрын
@@beekeepinginparadise5935 it's not the concrete that actually explodes. Moisture/water from underneath the concrete builds up pressure due to heat, and then explodes. Just be careful, it happened to me while cooking humba on a concrete floor.

@jomabgi ohhh I get it. Yes I’ll be very careful. Thank you

@@beekeepinginparadise5935 I would suggest making an "abuhan" instead. Pretty sure Yekyek and Noy Digoy know what that is.
@beekeepinginparadise5935 Жыл бұрын
I’ll ask them. Thank you. I haven’t had a chance to spend the night out there yet so I haven’t needed to cook anything. I’m waiting until I can build a CR. There is too much risk from Cobras to spend time out there in a risky situation. Lol

We have a farm in Samar. Let’s get some bees there?
@beekeepinginparadise5935 Жыл бұрын
Vincent, that sounds like a great idea. Are you an experienced beekeeper? Have you ever done it before? If not, I have a whole series of videos on what it takes to prepare and get going. I hope you'll check it out and ask me questions. When you're ready for bees just tell Edwin Madrid. You can find him on Facebook and message him that you want to purchase bees. He's awesome to work with. Let me know if and when you place an order and maybe I'll order at the same time and they can get delivered on the same vehicle headed this way. God bless you always my friend. Bee well.

@@beekeepinginparadise5935 does he have STINGLESS bees?
@beekeepinginparadise5935 Жыл бұрын
I’m not sure. I don’t think so. I think if you join some of the beekeeping in the Philippines Facebook groups you will find someone more local who can sell them to you. They need much different equipment than I’m used to and you manage them completely differently. One of these days I’ll get some training on them and share it on this channel.

Good evening. That’s a story for an upcoming video but spoiler alert, when I got back here to the Philippines after my vacation in the USA they were terribly weak and I ordered a few new queens and a new nuc to boost them. I was able to harvest honey and now I’m nursing them back to health. Please keep watching and you’ll get the full story. God bless. Bee well.
