I'm sorry to hear about your dog, man. Losing a member of the family like that is never easy. I had a Rhodesian Ridgeback who lost a battle with cancer a few years back, and even at 27 years old at the time it was probably the hardest thing I had to go through.

Sorry to hear mate, I lost my Corgi in 2020. It was so hard to push through as she was my dog since I was 10, I basically grew up with her around every single day, so I feel your pain man.

Great to have you back mate, and nice to see the face behind the voice. I‘m very sorry to hear about your dog, pets - especially dogs - are like family members, and its not dissimilar when they inevitably pass away… There’s no shame in taking some time off when this happens, it’s human, it’s normal, and - as you said yourself - a break and a change of scenery can be literal therapy at times. That’s also why - and I can speak from past experience here - ones (real) life should always be above anything else like hobbies or jobs, as one can live without the latter, but the latter isn’t (qualitatively) possible without a healthy life. Glad to see you back!

We lost our lab 3 years ago, and I and many others here will share your pain. I still find it hard talking about it now. It's kind of amazing that they're part of our families for a few short years (although yours had a great long life) but then cause so many years of grief (I've heard people describe it as a lifetime of grief but I don't want to discourage you 😅)

I've lost two pets in my life, it's always rough, regardless of how long they've been in your life. Absolutely no shame in taking time to yourself to get/keep your head on straight. Take care of yourself, first and foremost. Content creation's a passion project right now, do not allow it to overly consume you, your content, and your headspace will suffer for it. Good to see you're getting back to it though, make no mistake. Be well Cami.

First off, I'm very sorry for your loss. It can be so hard losing a pet. While it is a bummer that you won't be putting videos out as often I think it's absolutely essential and crucial for you to try to maintain a healthy balance. We'll all still be here to watch your videos when they do come out. And a prolonged less often release schedule will just make your content drops that much sweeter. This ain't a sprint it's a marathon! Got to make sure you take it slow and take care of yourself along the way.

When we lose pets, especially those we are responsible for, we cannot afford anything (as men) other than a short silent cry for our pets. This we must face alone. I have already experienced this (my cat died at 21), and I will experience it more than once: the beautiful little kitty has been living with me for three years now.
