im down to 1 mg a day. started at about 6mg a day 8 months ago. ive tried a few times jumping off but failed. funny thing is i only did roxi for one month last year. that one month changed my life forever. i didnt think almost a year later id be battling this situation. im thinking about making the jump very soon since im at a lower dose. have you or anybody watching ever experienced with mood stabilizers like wellbutrin. ive heard a few people say it helped them after getting off subs mainly for depression. depression and anxiety is the thing that most scares me. as we all know opiate wd changes your mood constantly. one second you feel great and think youve kicked it then all the sudden your feel like youre back to day 2. i want something to help with my mood but i also dont want to be trading one drug for another and be dependent on something else. stay strong and keep posting. these videos are very therapeutic for me. people who have never battled this have no clue what we go through thats why we have to stick together.

I'm still chillin at 1mg. I dropped to .. .5 & did well for about a week but Then I noticed RLS hitting me on the evening. I went down to .5 against my Doctors advice, so I went back up to 1mg & I'm listening to him. I gotta stick at this 1mg for the amount of time reccomend by my Doctor. :) I was trying to be a doctor for a minute there! Hahahaha!!!!

That’s a huge reduction in dose cutting it in half. I’d highly suggest going to .75 as your next dose (this is not medical advice 😜) how long you think until you try going down again? Seems like getting under 1 mg us when physical stuff is for most people including me...

Been off that crap for 412 days. Was on it 9 1/2 years. Best decision I’ve ever made. Must stay diligent. Not an easy task but definitely doable. Don’t take Kratom! Just delaying the inevitable. My $.02. -John

What I needed to here. I was addicted to opiates so a lady in recovery gave me some kratom and I got hooked. Bout alot and consumed a lot! Quit kratom with one month of suboxone. Soon I was back on kratom 30 grms a day. Quit CT and in 10 days of pure hell went to ER and said I can't do this so I took some kratom to cure my PAWS. And it did. Went back to Dr and suboxone working, so no WD of kratom. Last day of sub. I had no WD from sub last time and I'm don't with this merrygoround revolving door. Using the SMART RECOVERY plan for my urges! Just abstain... That's the cure

Getting off subs is a process, not a one and done. I went up and down on the doses for 6 months before I finally put it down. So, I'm 17 days w/o any subs and determined to push through no matter the cost. I'll be back often to listen in. I hope you continue well on your journey to health.
@KevinsKontentKorner4 жыл бұрын
So what are you going to doing the future when more anxiety happens? What if another wave of covid comes, will you use sub? Life, incidents, will always happen. I'm not trying to preach because I have as of yet failed to get off sub, but I think maybe it's beneficial to sort of give some "tough love." Think about it, you said ONE SUB will last you a month. I mean man, how much withdrawal can you expect from one sub a month? I get it, trust me, I've been on sub for longer than I'd care to admit, and have numerous failed attempts to get off it. Stop doing this to yourself. Stopping, starting, rinse, repeat. Just do it ONCE man and be done, no matter what. I'm yelling at myself along with you, trust me. Also, very important, you are making it so much worse for yourself by psyching yourself out. You're in great shape, you can take time off as needed. What did you do with your week off? Any recovery work? You have no excuse not to get off sub to be honest. It sounds like you need to take your own advice at 5:32. I recently quit smoking, and here's the kicker. I failed to quit when I had days off, I always tried to quit when I wasn't working, but idle time is your enemy when quitting. KEEP BUSY. I quit right when the corona started hitting hard, I worked at a grocery store, and i had A TON of extra energy that first week when we had so much to do, it really truly helped me quit smoking being busy nonstop. I hope I didn't come off as too much of a dick, but I'm similar to you, I weaned up and down and back and forth and stopped and started and man, I wish I was at .25mg now. I jumped from higher and made it 25 days. My excuse is i sat around all day depressed as fuck and tired and i live with someone who's also prescribed sub, so I gave in. ME. Not anyone else. Blame yourself, and when you do finally beat this thing, take all the pride and glory that YOU deserve. Peace my brother, good luck, and I hope you make it.

I’m now 3 weeks clean as in was addicted to Opiod based painkillers for nearly 4 years and never felt better. I contacted Swanswell charity which is a U.K based drug addiction charity they carried out a assessment with their G.P who was great and they put me Espranor which not only stops any withdrawal but is a blocker to your receptors so even if you take opiods you don’t have any high effects so it’s a complete waste of time taking them. Don’t know if you use Espranor in America or if you even call it by the same name but it has definitely worked for me. Good luck all what ever problem you have!

Dude, that's awesome! You look like you're doing great 👌🏻 Im still at 2mgs and feeling a good amount of withdrawal throughout the day (I tapered down too fast). But it looks like your withdrawal is minor which is giving me hope. Thx for the update✌🏻

Hey good stuff man!! .25 mg is great!!! I’m currently on 8mg a day and I’m trying to taper! I’m also currently on testosterone and take a small dose of 250mg of sustanon a week (2 .5cc shots a week). The only reason I bring that up is because the test has been making it a little bit easier to taper off subs and I’m hoping it will give me the boost I need to power through coming off. Have you ever used test or steroids in general?
@keepitallthewayfunky34484 жыл бұрын
That’s the low I’m at barely crumbs. I’ve been at it since April but I can’t function . The doctor did say if you jump now at 0.25 every other day , in 90 days , it’s the same out come , just stretching the same result. And PAWs ( post acute withdrawal syndrome) can creep up on you for months or years I’m like 😳 what?!!! Am I ever getting off this beast? 👋🇨🇦✌🏽

Hey you, good 4 you for handling this taper! Do u think u can just jump at this point? I bet alot of it is just only mental...anyway no matter what it's all good, you got it
@cnd.90034 жыл бұрын
I was at crumbs for months. It’s basically prolonging it If you can’t go lower you gotta do it or nah. I get it hurts . But if you’re at 1/16 th just jump. You’ll still have the same out come in 6 months or 2 years . I had 4 mg. last 16 days . I had to do or die and get over it . It hurts a bit but its doable . Mostly Digestive distress and get some melatonin for sleep.. But I get the prolonged part it’s never the right day to decide to feel shitty for a week or soo

Always appreciate your videos!! How are you feeling? Started in oct on 12 mg. Got to 8 easy easy! 12 was too much. Then somehow i got to 6 then 4..then 2...then corona 4...then 2 now trying now trying 1.5!!! Its been ok but now is when i feel the jumps!! I dont know what to do. Im in public education and wanted to be healed up from the taper before august!! Ima just keep keepin on...i guess. How are you doing? Please?

Dude, you’ve got this!! It’s been 3 years for me now. Use the taper I told you and I promise, the suffering is temporary and you’ll get through it faster than you can even imagine! Also, dude, subs seriously hold back gains!! I’m up 45 lbs of muscle in the past 3 years!!! Get off of subs and you’ll be a mass monster!! Haha
@matty68484 жыл бұрын
Agreed. When your in addiction you don’t make any gains at all because you don’t eat properly and the body isn’t firing on all cylinders. Since I got clean already I’ve put a stone in weight which in American money is about 14lbs. I’ve never felt better and more positive getting clean.

I just got my first sub script, I don’t want to be on this forever but have been battling abusing pain meds for a little over 2 years now. Any advice I can get from some people in the comments?
@Idaknough4 жыл бұрын
She is right! If you are going to get your life back on subs just start tapering as soon as physically possible. Like as soon as you can. Dont be on this forever! Dont get complacent with your sobriety! Use subs to get level headed enough to start over with a clear head enough to understand whatever recovery path you want to take. Use it to your advantage!! Good luck! These channels have helped me sooo much!

Lol respectfully said, this isn’t really an appropriate question to someone who is already being extremely vulnerable. ... “how long till you’re off everything..,?” You’re not an addict are you? It’s a process. If he KNEW, he would have been off of it already. It’s the hardest stuff to get off. (Again. Said respectfully. Not trying to be nasty... but this guy is trying his ASS OFF
