Haven’t done winter camping in years unless I’m in my camper lol also, we do use a large tent with a buddy heater. Things are getting rough all the time as I age keep going MR.

Good afternoon sir. Definitely something to be said for no poison ivy, BUGS!!, snakes by us, etc for a winter camp. Used to go to Wisconsin in the winter for snowmobile trips and we did it in a very basic cabin, no running water, no bathroom and it definitely is a time to figure things out but it was always great time. Be praying for PN's mother for a quick and full recovery from her fall. Y'all have a blessed day.

I went up the mountain in Tennessee some years back and came down the mountain to 50 cent higher gas prices and the Gulf War. Have had that happen 3 times so I tease the kids saying I am preventing another world war by staying on the farm now, LOL.

A winter hammock sounds a bit nuts to me, but so long as you were warm and safe. I think the coldest i camped in was 18° at night near the big Man. We tented it on air mattresses back then. Those were the days 😊
