Hi! I'm Sarah, mom of 3 daughters and wife to a busy chef! I have been a working mom from the start and have had jobs as an English teacher, nanny, daycare provider in our home, and now I focus solely on helping other busy moms create balance that sticks with my brand Work Life Glue. I am homeschooling and juggling creating a business while being a mom/wife/friend/daughter/sister/etc. It can be a lot, but I'm SO glad this is my life! I love to share how I fit everything in, how I keep our home organized and functioning well for my family, what I do to keep my girls learning and having fun, how I stay on top of all the things that come along with being a mom and homemaking, and so much more! It's totally understandable, and only those who have walked in similar situations can understand. My husband had a stroke at 41 with a major brain bleed that left him disabled, some physical but more cognitive. Brain injury 😪 patients get frustrated and sometimes take it out on their caretakers. My children were 11 and 6. Make sure you all take time away and care for yourselves. To be the best person you can be, take time to rest, relax and invest in yourself. May God Bless you and give you strength 🙏 I am still a caretaker for almost 12 years. And very thankful (most days) that God has allowed him to be with us still! Love the bullet Journaling and look forward to it. ❤

In 2018 my dad got sick from sepsis due to a gallbladder infection. I know I'm a stranger and I won't say I completely understand, but I do kinda understand. The visual imagery, the back and forth, up & down, advocating, trying to navigate social workers and getting beds at rehab facilities, telling the story over & over again to new doctors and nurses... it is all so heavy. Seeing your dad who is strong & brave go through that is just... so many layers of grief and stress mixed with how proud you are of them and how much you love them. We ended up losing our dad bc his body just couldn't fight it... and I miss him so much. Sending you so much love & prayers. I'm glad you're going to try to do things that make you happy, even if you will still have hard days mixed in.

My mum died of sepsis nearly 5 years ago my kids were were young 11 years old and 18 months old at the time , it was so difficult . Hello Sarah 👋🏻 I've been on an emotional roller coaster this year too. I am caring for my grandmother who has dementia. She had a stroke in November, then rehab and a nursing home. I jumped through all the hopes to get her home in February. It has been a very hard year. 💗

You’re making an impact every day in the lives of your family. And you’re right, you don’t have to do anything beyond that. I’m sure I’m not alone in being so thankful that you take time to share what’s working in your home with all of us so we too can be impactful positive parents💗 I’m so sorry this happened to your family and cliche as it is, God has a plan for this and it will be used to bring Glory & Honor to Him. Romans 8:28 tells us “And we know that all that happens to us is working for our good if we love God and are fitting into his plans.” You are a different person now and that’s ok, you can’t help but be after something like this. I have faith that you will use all of this for good, not in an exploitive way I never felt like you used this to your “advantage”, but that you will better serve Him through what you are learning in this trial, and help others to do the same 💗💗💗
