Well DLC is one type of the PVD process, so yea bit confusing. Depending on the materials used to coat steel in the PVD process it might even be better than the carbon used in DLC.

I couldn’t have been more honest and transparent. Apologized and said it was on us. I also said if anyone who has a knife like that is upset about it, they can reach out so we can try to figure out a resolution. What more can I do? Thats the definition of accountability. It was exactly that, a lack of knowledge, which I admit. I can’t change the past, just do my best to be better in the future and offer solutions to anyone affected.
