I am CONTINUALLY impressed by what I'm seeing from the Wildwood/Salem Heritage Glen/Hemisphere sister brands here. This layout took some ingenious outside-of-the-box level thinking and I LOVE what I'm seeing here!!
What begins as "Just another front living" quickly becomes something more interesting as we venture down into the kitchen/dining combo area. It's a terrific setup for couple's camping or entertaining friends and family for the evening. The half-bath also allows you to maintain full privacy of your bedroom in the evening hours!
But it's actually outside the RV in the back area that I find myself loving this one. Outfitted with the full Elite Bar & Grill this RV has one of the best camp kitchen setups I've ever seen on a non-bunk RV. PLUS... having all the hookups near the BACK of the camper?! That's just AWESOME!!

This hits the mark on many levels. I love the positioning of the water controls and the outdoor kitchen. The one draw back is that positioning of the spare tire. Seems to take away room for a generator as well.

23:16 if they cut the angle of the edge on the kitchen slide floor differently the 1/2 bath door 🚪 could open more 👍🏽 plus the bottom of the door could be higher (like the tops of many bathroom doors with only a bathroom exhaust fan to allow airflow) to allow it to open fully; also French doors that opens into itself would work (screwdriver work to swap the doors) 🚪 😉

My wife said that this one gets 👍👍👍, just remove both love seats/sofas, put a dining table/desk in one spot, recliners in the other spot, as long as the half bath has a MEGA EXHAUST FAN that location is ok, the no window door just needs my modification. Yesterday in our part of North Central Texas it was in the low twenties, with strong North wind that almost blowed us all the way down to South Texas🙂🙂. We had the opportunity to walk through one of these and I absolutely love this floorplan. After our tour of this floorplan, my wife and I felt we had found "the one", until we were exiting the coach. The placement of the front awning arm prevents the door from full opening and resting flat against the outside wall with the awning stowed away. This problem only worsens when the awning is deployed, as the door will only open about 90 degrees. For us, this became the deal breaker. Too bad, because the rest of it was perfect.

12:25 1 day someone will make an RV that simply turns that half bath/pantry space into a dedicated laundry room 🧺 👍🏽👍🏽 as the stackable washer/dryer goes where the sink/medicine cabinet are + the removed toilet leaves room for an enclosed hamper cabinet with a folding table with a hanging bar over the folding table for items you hang up & a flip down small ironing board over the door 🚪‼️ Then this way you get to keep your hanging closet space in the bedroom/bathroom where the washer/dryer hooks ups are‼️🙌🏽

I like it, I love it, but I'd be a nervous wreck towing it. The breakfast bar no dinette is my favorite. Outside kitchen is perfect. As for the space behind the sofa of where the window is. A perfect place for my goldfish to unwind in my travel aquarium. Thanks for the tour I enjoyed it

WOW Josh. Unreal. Wildwood killed this. They looked at Montana and said hey, we can do this too. I would argue to say this is more visually pleasing than the Montana inside! Montana does kill it with the actual table and chairs in the kitchen but I'm in love with this. I'm sorry but front living is the SUPERIOR 5th wheel layout by far. Clearly defined spaces. Large spaces at that. You're sitting up high with great views all around up there.just amazing. This isn't gonna last!

Heritage Glen has some pretty bold claims on the graphics but I don’t know if they have been specifically tested That being said with their belly enclosure, heating system, and tank heaters it would have to get pretty nasty for a long while to be a concern

Love all your videos ... Both FW's we purchased due to your vids :-) BTW, almost all campgrounds that we have visited have the sewer/water/electric connections in the middle of the site. So, a middle/forward wet bay is ideal for the places we have been.

great outside party area, and like kitchen counter seating in place of dinette.... interesting bed size, like that too. dont see anything i do not like, just not boondocking ready enough, change fridge, add solar etc. the usual. not that i do not like fridge, is very nice one, just wrong power source for me... actually 3 way are my favorite, but rare to find.

Yes, it is particularly perfectly pet friendly! If this were a travel trailer it would tick all the boxes and then some! ...but as stairs are painful to the other half, we can only daydream about it :( Oh, it also has the other "fifth wheel fail" for us in that while the main living area is ventless, there's sure as sugar a vent in bedroom floor (though not in the bathroom like most do!). Oh man, we used to get Scwhann's delivery, they had the best Philly cheesesteak imitation Hot Pockets! Is there a version of this with a butler pantry instead of the half bath maybe? Heh, you keep mentioning things that I notice or comment on not too long after I type them in, it's like you KNOW and you've done this before! I don't think the faux seat in the shower is big enough, but I have to wonder... Does the TV arm in the bedroom move enough for a little toilet TV? Maybe if you watch in the mirror behind the sink? Wow! That's a nice kitchen and storage, though for us we'd gladly give those up if it meant no interior steps. The hood may be nice and work just fine, but my vote is to bring back the #RVNinjaNerd! That gear might even help conceal things to look more like a three and a half head instead...

Fridge has an inverter, yes. Front kitchens have really dwindled. For a few seasons everybody built one after montana blew that idea wide open. Now there's only a few

What are the thoughts on these longer fifthwheels were state parks are concerned? I've heard that it can be hard to find space if you're RV is over 36'. I've been pulling a 29' for a few years now...but this rig would be great for the kind of partial retirement that I want to do. Will I find space at state parks or would I be relegated to RV Resorts only?

Wow, this thing looks nice! I think I actually like this decor better than some of the fancier and more expensive 5ers. I'm a tent camper and normally stop as the weather cools, but one year I camped later in the season, like the weekend before Halloween. The state park had a Halloween thing going on (which I was totally unprepared for, I had no candy lol) but it was cool walking around and seeing all the RVs decorated for the holiday! I had no idea people did that, and really liked it! BEQUEEN!

Unfortunately my dear wife wouldn’t fit through that narrow half bath door and she would have to be desperate to climb over the bed and the chairs. I would be forced to find a public bathroom. Obviously a no go for me, but I would be the exception. But if my dear wife sees this post I’ll be looking for a new place to live on the other side of the country. I’d be paying you a visit! Great trailer, would like to walk through but we just got a new to us trailer and should not be coveting yet. I am concerned about the entry way with the bar stools, seems tight in the video. Also, our Highest priority is bathroom and kitchen access when we travel. If you could adjust the size of the refrigerator slide to make better access to the 1/2 bath it would be great but I am not opposed to opening the slide a bit to get into the bathroom. We never use public restrooms when we are pulling the trailer. Also, I was betting there was no kitchen access in road mode, I was surprised when you showed that. Front window is awesome. CPAP shelf is great. PLEASE ADD 110V plugs to both sides of the bed. I wish I knew how to add this feature as our Montana lack power each side of the bed. You have to power a CPAP, and a cell phone charger on each side of the bed. Overall I think 9.9, best one yet.

This floor plan has checked all of our boxes but a couple of improvements would make it more perfect IMO. I really wish they had taken advantage of the available awning space by doing two shorter awnings so that the kitchen windows would be covered and give even more under-awning space to relax. It also looks like the location of the awning arm by the door could be problematic. I also have yet to figure out how the water filter can be replaced without climbing inside of the compartment where it is located.

Depends on the floor’s construction Some laminated floors have a single layer of Lauan. Some have two Non-laminated constructed floors are usually 5/8” thick

11:05 I noticed how your camera’s auto exposure compensated for the daylight outside the window 🪟 & abruptly “blew out” (over exposed) the windows where you couldn’t see the details outside so the interior wasn’t too dark & stayed properly exposed 👀 📷 ☀️ 😉 as well as I appreciated a larger convection oven AND the larger gas oven as well = great for more than road kill 🍗😉

Yeah handling that "wild light" was something my previous cameras did poorly. I could manually adjust exposure before and after shooting, but not during. And the auto-exposure would wildly wash things out. This one handles exposures "in screen" in near real time which is amazing

Heritage Glen's continued resistance to installing door windows is just nuts. The headboard should be dropped one row of checkerboard and a transom window installed over the bed. At least one of the couch slides should be wider and with a good end table so it doesn't feel so confined like you're sitting in detention.

I've not seen anything regarding the use of camp kitchens. Arms are usually fine on these, but the shoulders can get wore out when I make my walking and talking kind of videos like my industry updates

We've been living in our 2022 forest river wildwood heritage glen 36fl for about 2 weeks now. I enjoy it so far but I have a few questions regarding the black & grey tanks (4 total) . The total capacity is 70gal (black) and 104gal (grey). Is that for each or combined? Also, the gate valve handles for the rear tanks inside the water compartment are very tight and hard to pull. Anyone have that issue with this model?

Love everything except I've seen better laid out kitchens. I don't want someone taking a dump right at my kitchen. Can that area be adapted with cabinets with counter top? We are looking for a full timer option. The kitchen is very important and the "hub" Another question is... Are there tub options for the master? I have skin problems and have to have a tub for soaks as well as sitting in hot water really helps with old Arthur. :D PS, it can even be the smaller tubs like used to come in older models.

I love the way the front cap looks … but I don’t want to clean it ;). The rest of the RV is really beautiful…I would prefer more dining space - even just for 2… I like the big fridge … love the convection microwave.. all new RVs should have them . I don’t want a toilet in my kitchen- lol… the floor could use a little toning down - not a fan of the fake wood pattern. I love physical switches!!! In the middle of the night I don’t want to mess with a touch screen. I love the televator :). I like windows on both sides of the bed !!!!!! lots of RVs only have one window- hate that. Would want the stackable behind a door of some sort, not just open. The shower faucet looks really weak… that should be improved for sure. Well that’s my 2cents ;)

I can’t recall every floor plan individually but often builders will locate buttons near their respective slides so you can safely line of sight them when opening and closing to ensure they’re unobstructed

2:07 initial thought, before watching the whole video (as I’m only a couple of minutes in) is it doesn’t have the panache of say a Montana *see previous comment 😉 but looks very functional & I like the decor enough - more so than other WildWoods who’s decor I tend to not like at all, I think it’s the uniform light tones all around, that also works better with their wood finishes than the darker wood finishes they use; although they both look like a faux wood sticker wrap than real wood 🪵 last years Freedom Express by Coachman had The Best decors IMO before the went DARK BROWN/Black in their New for 22 decor 😖 🤦🏽‍♂️ anywho, I digress… #squirrel 🐿 👀😳
