I was a big fan of her but I feel like she’s been lying all of the time. I’m sure this “vulnerable and honest” moment is just a new way to say “hey I’m opening a new cosmetic brand soon. It’s a little too late coz Kayley already lost her brand. Marlena already lost makeup geek. Morphe suddenly closed down many stores leaving the workers unemployed.

you can be successful in an oversaturated market, people have been doing it for years. With Jaclyn i believe she just did not do enough research on the jewelry industry. Aaliyah Jay's jewelry line has been doing fine but that's because Aaliyah is known for fashion and beauty and loves to accessorize, she knows how to push jewelry to her following. Jaclyn on the other hand, i believe she got lost trying to succeed in something that was out of her element, which resulted in the poor sales for her.

And I’m willing to bet that the reason she’s saying stuff along the lines of “I didn’t support my brand being at Ulta because I was too depressed and felt like a failure,etc” is because Forma is getting ready to sue for breach of contract. She was supposed to be the “pusher” for the brand especially while it was at Ulta. She was not the CEO, CFO, owner, she was the “pusher” and didn’t even want to do that.

Agreed! As a contract lawyer, I'm sure there are many legal reasons she can't share the whole truth. But at the end of the day, many of those lawyers are also hired by her and work FOR her, so she should be able to use their help and see how much she can truthfully disclose. This is what I have been saying. I wish that Kalyn HAD fought her for Koze. Kalyn said she had lawyers telling her she would win the case and it wouldn’t cost her anything? Great! DO IT. I don’t think I’ve ever left a negative comment before but I feel strongly that while you’re taking accountability and that’s a good thing and didn’t research the name of one of your brands, the other creator is not a “small” creator and has over 1M followers and said they reached out to you not the other way around BEFORE you launched and didn’t get a response. That person experienced a lot of personal pain because they were not able to continue producing content and selling merchandise under that name any longer that they had used for years and that’s just not right.
