This isn't even drama. It's a crime. Drama is when someone badmouth someone about how they smells, not literal stalking
@TalesoftheSolstice
@TalesoftheSolstice 2 жыл бұрын
The dramafest part of it is all the videos that Shannon forces to be made with her childish bs. She's doing it for attention and she knows Emily gets more attention the right way with her honesty and talented artwork while Shannon has nothing to stand on. Shannon doesn't even use her own artwork on her "channel" - the speedpaints are all sent to her from someone else and all shannon does is a little editing here and there as well as her voice over.

It's crazy how Anthony has faded into the shadows in the midst of all this. Shannon is unhinged, yes, but it's clear a lot of this information has been fed to her by Anthony. He's in the background stoking the flames, and the two women he's had in his life the most are bearing all the fallout of it. He's a reaaal piece of work, and while Shannon deserves to be exposed and put in line for how she has behaved and hurt people, it would be remiss of all of us to forget that there is a major player not getting his share of the spotlight. Anthony fanned the spark of this into a roaring fire, to hurt Emily and use Shannon as the tool. I wouldn't be surprised if, after all this, he discarded Shannon and left her to take the blame alone now that her usefulness has waned.

Crapshow Fart does this out of pure jealousy. I can tell within the first 20 seconds Emily took the criticism from her other video well and has implemented it. Also just because Emily is telling her story but it is not ALL backed by receipts doesn't make the video "bad". She's allowed to tell her story, back up some or most with receipts and reason but also just speak her story even if she can't have undeniable evidence for all of it.

I do not expect her to have it because she didn't make it up. Make sense? Also this woman has been through a lot. I actually relate bc she and I were very similar although I never went into the same industry as she we have both been homeless and both been addicts and abused and so I relate. She doesn't have to prove her life story to a single person. Esp Shannon and her supporters. Emily you are a strong woman. I can tell you have changed. You inspire me with your art and your story. In a situation not unlike yours, I was assaulted by someone I considered a friend when we were just hanging out. This puts Shannons original video in context. I'll admit that I never watched her full video mainly because the information was not clearly presented. In most "Let me defend myself videos" The evidence is thoroughly explained and put on display. Shannon would just say "THIS PROVES THIS" And not give me enough time to read the messages. You go through the messages and give your interpretation, which I agree with. There is no way Shannon could of made that video with out having stalked or payed attention to your private accounts for a long time. This simple realization makes every subsequent argument fall apart because her premise is flawed and based on fraud.

I would honestly love to ask Shannon what exactly she thought that video would do for her and her reputation..... she had to know it made her look absolutely horrible, right??? Honestly, screw all of the "evidence" and anything else. What makes you so credible is that you've never tried to shy away from the mistakes and ugliness of your past. You're not faultless in your life, and you knows that, and are taking/have taken appropriate steps to address those shortcomings. (P.S. As we all should, none of us make it through this life without some fuck ups... unless maybe we're just incredibly boring.) Shannon can try and paint you as a liar all she wants, but it just doesn't make sense because you have always been open about the things that many would try to hide or make light of. I mean, don't get me wrong. I appreciate all of the time and effort put into finding the receipts and all of that. That's not for nothing. I'm just saying that you can sense the difference in maturity level and sniff out the bullshit by virtue of the way you two talk about the situation.

It's so true, the tone of both people are so different. Literally Emily very honest taking accountability even when she doesn't need to,trying to be respectful of others feelings and just a vibe of a person who has grown and matured. Shannon's voice quivering with resentment, anger,rage, going after every one and hating the world. I honestly couldn't watch Shannon's video very long. Got me angry right out of the gate and just think my head would have exploded. Starting with outright lies right off was a bad plan, then the manipulative attempts at shuffling through things super fast to push her narrative, lack of self awareness, the entitled nasty attitude just so grating. I know I'm part of the choir, but what made my stomach clench was the whole I'm not a stalker and then posting information about Emily that no one ever has any business telling others about someone else ever. In any circumstance. Our society is just to full of that crap. Instead of saying here's our character references or anything to make things right, It's this ignoring truth and Shannon's feelings was all that mattered. I have been thinking ,the whole cancel culture sucks and how she could have a way to redeem herself, but I don't see how that could ever happen. On a different note the bits I've seen and the different break downs (Inksmith did awesome 👌) there is a tone of ownership to whole thing . That's probably obvious to most of us,but it's like the trying to keep Emily down gives off a territorial feeling. I mean it's feeling more like a thing that was escalating and could really be dangerous.

That attitude just PERMEATES her entire rebuttal vid so it makes me feel gross just listening to her and remembering just how her type was commonplace back then. Unlike Emily, who matured and grew up not just for herself but for her children, her family, and her art. And you can tell by her tone and attitude that she has nothing to hide about herself because she's not only at peace with it, but she's still working at bettering herself for it. I was a victim of stalking as a kid. I made a 'mean' comment on some grown ass woman's Deviantart page cuz she was ripping off art of one of my friends. Something like "nice stolen art, NOT" (I was like...14, 15 lol). She made my life hell for the next several years, and EVERYTHING discussed with Shannon, what she's done... It reminds me of my stalker. She would track every little angsty post in my livejournal, and even tried to fake a bunch. Got ahold of my home address and mailed them to my parents. I know what it's like. I know how it feels worrying that every little thing you say might be used against you sometime. That your mental illness, and the childish way you might let it come out on social media, because you're too young and unexperienced to know any better is a weapon against you as a person. It's not a good way to feel. I can't even imagine how much harder it would be feeling that your children are at risk from this woman. I'm so glad you spoke out, and I'm so heartbroken that you had to. I'm so disgusted that she would literally try to discount your struggles with addiction and mental health, or try to frame them as personality defects or something. Shannon, if you read this, YOU are the one who destroyed your own career, YOU are the reason you can't come back to youtube. YOUR true colours are what brought you to this. Well if what Emily said is true (and I personally believe she is) the “lawyering” company doesn’t actually take ppl to court, they just harass people into not talking about their client anymore. Emily has years of evidence on her side since she’s gotten legal advice to start tracking everything, so even if somehow we’re in a universe where Shannon does take Emily to court, Emily would have the best chance of winning. Once the evidence is shown that Shannon is a serial liar and manipulator, the court wouldn’t be keen to believe even proof that is correct against Emily. 25:50 something important to mention as well, is that even if you weren't high or drunk during the r*pe, going through a traumatic experience like that victims often recall the memory very spottily. That's why many social workers, therapists, etc advocate for a longer time window (maybe a few days, rather than right when you go to police) to give the full account of the incident. Bits and pieces may come back over time and key things may not be recalled at the time of reporting.

Shanon ruined her own reputation. She can't take responsibility and acknowledge her wrongdoings. If she had just stopped with the lolcow incident instead of doubling down, she might still be around. But Shanon seems to lack self awareness; everything is someone else's fault even when the evidence is in front of her. Granted, I'm glad because this type of behavior is terrifying and no one should be subjected to this level of harassment. This is obsessive. Yes, her video was nothing but proof of everything she did. Like...I don't know how she didn't realize how condemning her "proof" was of her stalking. And woof, Shanon is one of those types who is allowed to be forgiven for her past mistakes but if someone else makes a similar mistake, they are unforgivable. Shanon needs to take a deep, long, and hard look at herself in the mirror and ask some really uncomfortable questions. Emily, I don't mean to be dramatic, but please keep an eye out. Her type aren't keen on giving up even when their targets hit rock bottom. I'm sure you're aware, but I have a sneaking suspicion she's not done just yet. (Edits are grammatical changes)

@@bessieburnet9816 Oh, I 100% agree with you. I guess I should have clarified that there was never an obligation for Emily to apologize nor that her past situations excuses Anthony for doing anything that he did. None of the things we mentioned together are actually mutually exclusive from each other either as we could still say that Anthony should be accountable for everything that he did. The framework of my comment was looking at her apology in a complete vacuum and seeing that as an example of how Emily is that much more of a developed human being than Shannon. As far as why I felt Emily's acknowledgment of her past to be "refreshing," I was simply thinking about how people would nowadays usually say "that wasn't me in the past" as an excuse whenever a skeleton in their closet in the past would spring up. To hear her instead say, "no no, that was actually me!" shows so much humility. As someone who worked as a substance abuse counselor before, I was so proud to hear her demonstrate that level of humility and it really shows how far she's gotten. It didn't even occur to me on how this could be interpreted as excusing Anthony in any way.

I know it's kind of a moot point, but it does not matter if someone has autism or a disorder. If they are a crappy person or violent, they have to be held accountable for their own actions. As someone who is on the spectrum, if I were to make threats or attack someone I wouldn't use my autism as an out because I still chose to do those actions. While there is a difference in how the disorder affects each individual, some more severely to the point of needing someone to care for them for their entire life, it does not mean we get a pass at any degree of the intensity of our disorder. Brandon does not get a pass if he has autism because his actions and words are still his responsibility.

As an addict in recovery, it’s awful. People treat us like we’re all criminals and terrible people, even though most of us aren’t and most of us use to cope with mental health struggles, I know I did. Treating us like criminals (which we aren’t just for using) instead of people with a disease (which is what it is and why it’s called substance abuse disorder) has been shown to be detrimental to us. It causes people to use more and to not wanna get help, the statistics are out there. Countries where they don’t send you to jail for using and instead offer the proper help, clean supplies, testing kits, a safe place to use, etc. have sooooo much less of a problem with overdoses, death from addiction, mental health issues, and addiction and drug use in general. Harm reduction saves lives, treating us like humans with a disease saves lives. The way shanon talks about Emily’s disease is disgusting.

I get some of the no drugs absolutists. Many are the victims of addicts. Typically family member addicts. Addicts out us through hell. They don't just destroy themselves but everyone around them. I still have severe hatred towards addicts because of trauma I got from addicts who were also loved ones. Years later, when and if they recover, they don't remember most of what they did to you or they pretend they don't remember. When they do that....it makes it so much worse. Not just from my experience either. Several of my very close friends are extremely anti drugs because of being a child to a drug addict and the hell that goes with such a scenario. One friend it was his mother. Another it was both parents. Maybe don't assume it's people with no experience around drugs that have such a intense reaction. I have never touched drugs but I still was extremely hurt by drug use via those close to me. From my experience, those with absolutely no personal experience around addicts are the bleeding hearts that don't understand just how many lives get fucked over by addicts. I'm not saying treating them like second class citizens is fine but don't act like only addicts have trauma and should be treated like a victim. Addicts are both victim and abuser. That's why one of the steps to recovery is making amends to everyone they hurt and owning there past. That means they hurt others and those others may still have serious issues with drugs from such experiences. I will still flash when some things are brought up. I still don't trust getting a ride from friends anymore. I still become filled with rage when someone makes a joke about me seeming on drugs. It's my shit and I deal with it but I know damn well my shit is because of addicts so they are not innocent. No addict manages without hurting those around them. So don't make so many assumptions about people. Because odds are you have no idea why they react the way they do and most can't face it to fix it. Just know mine wasn't just one addict. It was many, many I didn't know about until far too late. And one I never thought would ever become a addict or do drugs at all. Not fun memories to say the least...... What little trust I had before is most definitely gone thanks to those addicts. Not something you can easily brush off and accept the apology.....

How is a young mind suppose to deal with rage, hurt, and confusion while also being too scared to tell anyone? Not all parents are easy to talk to, and are outright dismissive because they don't think bad things can happen to /their family/. You'd expect a person like who she claims to be to rather react with compassion for Emily's plight as they try to defend themselves, yet Shannon got so spiteful... Secondly, and this is kinda scary to think about: Where is Anthony in all of this? For all we know, it could be that he is feeding Shannon stories and got her to join him in his obsession I said that in another comment already, but Shannon can be both a spiteful person and be manipulated etc... It took me about 10 years to shift the blame to the person who did it without consent - instead of feeling shame for getting drunk in college. I took a ride home with someone because I was too drunk to drive and ended up getting taken advantage of. The thing is, no matter what the reason for your incapability to consent - if you cannot consent then it is not consensual. I ended up puking on their bed and they got mad at me and got me off their bed and started taking my clothes off. I said stop but they yelled something at me. I passed out and woke up in the shower and their hands were on my private parts. I know they were probably not trying to clean the puke off me because they could have used the detachable shower head or a cup and they were touching me with their bare hands in a inappropriate way. It took me years to realize what happened to me and that something worse probably happened but I can't remember. I know that they were capable of doing this to me because in the past they came on to me a couple of times and I'd turn them down. They also tried to get me to let them look at me or touch me pluss they even shown me pictures of me asleep that they took. I'm absolutely horrified on your behalf that you have to relive this shit and post detailed explanations online sharing ALL your personal shit because of this fucking monster. This is emotionally traumatic as FUCK and she belongs behind bars! It's the only thing that will stop her!! I'm SO sorry, Emily! This is a fucking nightmare!

Just to point out a couple contradictions on Shannon and Anthony's story that I haven't seen anyone mention but seem wild to me: They accuse you of being ablest towards Brandon for not knowing he is autistic, yet they try to use your mental health as a way to drag you as a person. The picture the paint of you while you were dating Anthony has every possible stereotype of "crazy bitch" and then they completely disregard your diagnosis and history with drugs. Which is very hypocritical, to say that you're being ablest for not assuming that someone is autistic when they fantasize about columbine, while using all your struggles as an insult. The other point they kinda fuck up is how they tried to present your erratic behavior while dating Anthony as "you being crazy, not on drugs", and one of the things they included was the incident you've denied about falling unconscious. You've already explained that yes, you were relapsing after the relationship, and that you don't remember the fainting happening. But, if we go by their account you were an incredibly vulnerable person suffering from so many mental health issues that you could faint at points, which means that the sa would have still been an sa. Your point was that you were in and out of consciousness, so even by their account, that could still had happened. Due to you being "crazy" instead of using, but by trying so hard to paint you as an unreliable narrator they basically admit to it. Obviously you've already prove it wasn't their version in which you're sober, but their version of events means that it could have been sa even if you were sober. Sorry for any mistakes, English is not my first language.

I hope to one day be as strong as you so I may heal. As a survivor of sa it has pained me to watch these videos but also emboldened me. I hate how when victims of trauma react to their trauma in a "don't touch me" and drawing in kind of way we support them but when they react by over sexualizing them selves or abusing substances we don't.

Exactly. Its an especially damaging mindset since hypersexuality, in my experience, is far more common. I am in a friendship group where the majority of people have been sexually abused as children. Me and one friend, out of 7 sexually abused friends, are the only ones who are sexually repressed and drawn in. The rest are hypersexual. Both reactions are valid and are extremely damaging to mental health and relationships, but I'd argue hypersexuality is far more harmful in the sense you're much more likely to be revictimised and taken advantage of. And when you *are* revictimised, society blames you for the way you act. It's happened to many of my friends, one being revictimised a known total of 5 times before law enforcement intervened (for once lmao). The way she acted placed a target on her back, and its not her fault, but people will use it as a way to justify the actions of 20, 30, even 40 year old men on a 14 year old girl. It's *vile* that people remove the blame of the fully grown, fully mentally developed *adult* in favor of blaming the child who have only ever been taught that their body is their worth. And frankly, it doesn't matter how the victim acted. If an adult abuses a child, the adult is to blame. Its one of the few things in life that are black and white, imo

In any case, you are amazing and I hope this passes soon once and for all (though I do understand how the internet works, your trauma easily becomes entertainment for others to consume). i know emily chose to do this, but still, emily should've NEVER been forced to talk about such traumatic situations. it's really nobody's business what "really" happened when it comes to these personal issues. just because emily is a public figure, doesn't make it right for people to be requesting "receipts". literally shame on shannon for putting her in this position. what a despicable human being.

When you mentioned Abilify, Emily, I was genuinely shocked about the information you relayed because I took the same drug for a few years in high school and also suffered serious binge eating problems which made me balloon in weight after being a skinny twig for the first twelve years of my life. At 26 I'm trying to undo the weight that the Abilify caused me to gain. Thank you for pointing that out and I'm on your side and support you in this entire debacle and I'm so sorry that you had to make a third video in response to Shannon's shitshow of a response to your allegations.

Antipsychotics can do that. Seroquel made me gain a lot of weight and messed with my eating disorder heavily, but I needed it. Ability just made me more anxious when I was already dealing with that constantly from ptsd and panic disorder. But seroquel has helped with my numerous mental illnesses and helped me through withdrawals from heavy benzo abuse and other drugs, that and many other psych meds have helped with everything. But you’re right, some doctors aren’t clear enough about side effects, especially weight gain. But it sucks, because a lot of the time the medication is helping in so many ways but also making some things worse. I’ve had that issue with so many medications, like being on benzos to stop the constant every day panic attacks from ptsd and panic disorder, they saved my life in so many ways but also almost took it many times. You always need to outweigh the pros and cons, sometimes the side effects are worth it and you kinda just have to learn to cope with them, and sometimes it’s not worth it and you need to safely come off the medication. Best of luck to you, psych meds can be a pain in the ass, I’ve been on nearly 20.

You’re not alone. I was diagnosed with bipolar at 17 and prescribed it. I gained over 90lbs, became hyper sexual, binge ate, and made very risky decisions. I’m almost 20 and just not getting my life together and losing my weight.

@@guytrashgurtdog515 I'm still on Seroquel and I have been 5-10kg heavier than my "ideal" BMI. I still relapsed recently but after 10+ years of all kinds of medication changes, Seroquel and Lithium seemed to be working "best". I currently use exercise and keto, managed to lose 5kg at one point though I recently gained them back.

@@guytrashgurtdog515 i was put on seroquel after a stint in a psych ward, and i hated it so much. i had to take 25mg in the morning in 75mg at night, and all it did was make me starving and sleep constantly. i was sleeping 13 hours a day and would still feel so tired all the time. abilify also made me gain like 50lbs in high school and ive been stuck with that weight ever since. i finally landed on a combo of pristiq+vyvanse 4 years ago, and thats worked for me ever since. but it took forever to find a medication plan that worked.

This popped up in my recommended and when I saw "I'm Done, Shannon", I just knew I had to find out more. I've literally never heard of you or Shannon before today. I'm so sorry you have had to go through all of this. But you've done a really good job making your case in a very intelligent, well thought out way. I am sending positive vibes your way hoping that this all resolves quickly and peacefully and that Shannon and Anthony will get a life of their own so they don't feel the need to live vicariously through yours. And I just wanted to say I'm very happy for you that you managed to get out from under your demons and turn your life around. That takes a lot of strength. Good luck and take care.
