Ya know, I just noticed something. On the side of Bubba Dump's bed, the decal says 'Volvo BM'. I didn't know the significance of the 'BM' until I saw LD18's video of the Volvo museum tour you guys took on your trip to Sweden. Now I know that the BM is for Bolinder-Munktell, the farm tractor company that merged with Volvo, before Volvo switched to construction equipment. 🤔

On some Volvo machines you will see VME. Volvo acquired Michigan wheel loaders and Euclid dump trucks. Later sold Euclid to Hitachi.

I know it’s not much of a comparison, but our 1998 Case 9030B excavator has over 14,000 hours, and we still put 30+ hours a week on it. We’ve always loved that machine. We got it with 2,700 hours in 2001. It was our main machine for over 15 years.

B series are excellent machines. Had a 98 9020B, was best excavator I ever had.

Here's a thought.... those trailers look kinda like large gabion baskets. If they don't park where they should, fill them with riprap and set them along the river bank 😁🍷

The problem is laziness. They come in with an empty, drop it. Grab the full one and don’t want to unhook to move the empty to where they took the full one from. Love the videos!

You are fortunate to have MBTS, he is very conscientious with your equipment, I never see him driving or operating in an unsafe manner. Most employees today just run it until it quits and their main interest is their phone and the fuel gauge.

Don’t mess a contractor or a farmer. Why not designate numbered parking spots with T post and chains for their equipment with trailer license plate numbers surface welded to a plate then painted in Arron yellow and numbers painted black ???????😱😱😱😱😱😱 We had the same issue on a farmers property and I suggested this now they don’t dump their equipment anywhere’s ( like Arron’s accent says ) else.

The frustration with your renter has to be through the roof. It's nice you have the means to move the trailers, the fact that you needed to is infuriating. I would view their refusal to park where you've told them to as a breach of the rental contract. That 140 is sweet and powerful. You looked like you were having so much fun. Thanks for sharing, Mike. My daughter could put those trailers in there. She can back really short trailers way better than I can. I have a lot of respect for how much room a semi needs. My dock that I put in the lake in the spring and out in the fall is 48 feet long and 12 feet wide at the end. I take the bucket off my green compact tractor and mount a frame that takes a trailer ball.

It seems like the trailer issue is more about laziness than incompetence. The way they were allowed them to just drive through and drop. As you pointed out they can certainly back the white one into place under the shelter.

The UPS. Driver was right FedEx hasn’t been able to deliver our 40V lawnmower to Portland Oregon for warranty work it’s been about 10 days and it’s showing Eugene Oregon as last location , its less then 200 miles from original pick up point to destination they still about 100 miles to go

Even the older Case punched above their weight. We hired a 15T and used it to pick up 7 ton blocks between the bucket and the blade and shove them into an open door skip. Very impressive

The Case 140 seems to be a sturdy unit. Those rocks 'should' be a message of 'this is your parking space' but who knows. Close work on the dge of the river - trust it has done the job.

Mike, most likely whomever is “jockeying” those trailers around…, doesn’t know anything about “backing” them around. They can go forward real well, but forget about them backing to a clearly defined space. The Case looks like a nice piece of equipment. She probably fit right into the “DP” fleet real nice like.

our nieghbor has one of the 140 case he got around a year ago. we used itto take over our 200 year old black oak.. 5 ft stump . quite impressive.. that darn thing tracted very fast.

If they can't figure out that the rocks mark where the trailers go, then it's probably time for the company to find higher quality employees. And since this has been a constant issue, then perhaps they need higher quality leadership. I fear that the 120 won't be around too much longer. But we will see how the test goes and if the new excavator makes the cut. Is it me or has there been a lot of "great" moments that have been missed on camera! The DP crew is dropping the ball!
