Tom is pure class. The charisma this man has this is what makes him so good. Such a genuine guy. Love how he didnt budge when patrick kept pushing the competitive thing. Hey man not everyone thinks the same. Different things motivate different people. People always wanna talk about the competitive thing cuz of jordan but thats not what motivates tom. Tom is motivated by the process and doing it the right way. Both winners just different way to think.

“Not everyone thinks the same” That crosses my mind every time Pat talks about needing to choose enemies and find fuel etc….he’s been successful while in his head space so he probably doesn’t realize…but I’m certain you can ascend and pile up wins without thinking about “enemies” To me it seems a little lowly to use my energy thinking about other people that aren’t within my camp….unless I’m trying to learn You can lead and build without thinking about beating people…..in business some people are driven by freedom not winning

I just recently listened to interview with a former teamate of Tom's that played with him later in his career and his biggest take away when meeting him was how good of a person he was, to everybody. He said he would treat the cleaning people and other people lower on the totum pole as kindly as he did his teammates and coaches. Class act.

PBD's lack or understanding on how many elite athletes get passed the type of competitive spirit for which he assumes Tom has (because he himself has it) shows that he never played sports. If you make your achievements about being better than the other guy or crushing the enemy it will rob your joy and your productivity. It has to be about improving yourself for its own sake, as Tom said, to compete with the person in the mirror, and then allowing the results to come. You also become a team player that considers a rising tide raises all ships. That's why he keeps arguing the point with PBD but PBD just can't get it. The most arrogant jerks in sports make it all about beating others and win or lose, they have no peace.

PREACH 🗣️ I noticed that as well, he couldn’t understand that Tom comes from a place of extreme gratitude and because he is a top athlete he knows what it takes to be at the top and it ain’t easy. So anyone who is is also at the top knows it’s because of their discipline, work ethic, and sacrifice where you are just trying to get 1% better everyday. You don’t have time focus on others because you’re focused on WINNING and being YOUR best self 🔥 💪

This title and video is super misleading... Tom Brady literally spends the whole video describing that he's motivated by the process of self improvement and process. He compliments his teammates and what PBD would call 'enemies.' Valuetainment literally puts in quotation a headline that only PBD spoke, "I'm Driven By Enemies," and tries to make it look like Tom Brady said that when literally he not only never said that, but everything Brady said was in complete opposition to that... PBD: "I've gotta ask you this, "What drove you more? Getting one more than Belichick or one more than Michael?" Tom: "It was neither! I promise you! PBD: "I appreciate the answer. But I'm selfish and greedy. I gotta push back. Let me tell you why. Okay, so I'm writing a book that's gonna come out... It's called 'Choose Your Enemies Wisely."... Goes on to promote the book and try to get Brady to comment. "So let's say that's really the reason, Tom... So Belichick or Michael?" Tom: "If Belichik gets another Super Bowl it doesn't take anything away from me... The man in the glass, that's the one that motivated me." PBD: "Here's my interpretation. Having one more than Belichick means more to you than having one more than Michael Jordan. Is that fair?" Tom: "No" and goes on to describe the respect he has for his 'would be enemies.' Valuetainment Headline: "I'm Driven by My Enemies" What???? Brady never says that once in any way, form, or fashion?

Guys, as someone who had many failed businesses and is now running a successful one, this advice about being processed driven vs results driven is absolutely gold. Get a good process going based on what has worked for you, if you win great, if you lose, tweak the process. But don’t get hung up on the goal. That’s why so many people quit.

Tom’s consistency and longevity is so absurd that he’s the guy who genuinely may never have his records broken because of just how elite for how long somebody would have to be to do it. For someone to break his touchdowns record they’d need to have 40 a year for 16.25 seasons. In perspective of how absurd that would be to happen the most 40+ TD seasons is shared between Tom and Aaron with three. So the idea you’d have to average that for 16.25 seasons is wild. Or to best his yards you’d need 5,000 a season for just shy of 18 years. The most ever is five by Brees. The only other people to do it twice is Tom and Mahomes. So the only way he will ever be surpassed is if somebody not only plays for a really long time but does it at absolutely elite levels that entire time. It’s just incredible

Shiiit! Belichick couldn't have won those 6 without Brady! Look at his record before TB and now after TB, he's on a whole different level without Brady. Brady going to the Buccaneers and winning it all the first year is amazing! Everyone who questioned if it was more Brady or more Belichick responsible for those 6 Superbowls, got the answer to that question when he won his 7th ring! 7! More then any other franchise! He did that himself during his career! The NFL has been around what 103 years! That that sink in then try coming to anything other then Brady being the GOAT! There's only one clown left out there who not only don't think TB12 is the GOAT, but for some crazy reason (I think it's just his shtick at this point, and really the only things he's known by our gets called on shows to talk about... REALLY MAKE FUN OF HIM BECAUSE OF HOW INSANE HIS TAKES ARE) I'm sure most people know who I'm talking about.. Rob Parker

Bill w/out Brady had average to bad QBs like Testaverde, Matt Cassel, washed up Cam Newton and rookie Mac Jones. Of course he didn't win with them. Any HOF QB with Belichick's defenses for 15+ years in that horrible division could have duplicated or approached what Brady did in NE. Brady had great receivers like Moss/Welker/Gronk/Edelman the last decade of his time in NE. Once those guys aged out/retired, he left to form a super team in Tampa & went 1-2 in the playoffs in non-pandemic years. Did Brady help Belichick? Yes, no question. He's a HOF QB Does Brady win 6 rings w/o Belichick? Absolutely the fuck NOT. Belichick's defenses did a ton of heavy lifting in Brady's career. The truth is, they needed each other to achieve as much as they did & we'll never see a better HC/QB combo ever again.
