I'm a member of the H.A.M.B. where we love old cars. A guy in Canada always wanted a Mopar station wagon. He found one for sale in Southern California so he flew down and drove it home. The kicker? It was an early 60's Plymouth or Dodge than ran but had no dash board. He stopped by an Auto Parts Store, bought fuel filters and a tool kit, fill up the tank and drove to the border. That, my friend, is guts.

Tavarish, both you and Hoovie are a testament to old high end quality brands. 996 CARRERA, ML55 and now this SL55 high mileage cars that during their time were built & tested to last what manufacturer's thought were years of service. Just like the hoovies 996, I'm curious how long this brand of car will last and what limits will be reached while self wrenching on these cars.

80 mph is considered reckless driving? Jesus,i never drive below that speed when i drive from Rome to Prague in my BMW E46. 95-100 mph is a perfectly reasonable pace and i don't get why American authorities are so butthurt about speed. Hell,i've even gone 115 mph in my dad's Mercedes for a couple of hours and the world didn't fall apart.

WOW, you drove 1100 Miles, with a Mercedes in one day? unbelievable...well, over here in old Europe some folks are doing that twice a week. The main problem is, that we run out of road at some time. I'm in Canada, In Ontario 90mph is considered automatically stunt driving and all that, that's 27mph over the limit. Most major highways here have a limit of 62 mp/h (100km/h) With that said, I drive on average 70-80mph, and I often get tail gated and passed while in the middle lane or light traffic.

How do you have the Florida plates on, as you are still in NJ, doesn't it's required to first be with the car at the Florida traffic agency to get them?
@tmanepic7 жыл бұрын
Любомир Ангелов yes, but he registered the car in Florida and got the plates, then flew to new jersey and put them on the car
@sinansakic857 жыл бұрын
I'm sorry but I cant understand this workflow. I know USA is a different country but I'm from Bulgaria, and here you need to physically transport the car to the town you are registering it in and they must physically bolt on the plates on the actual car. This is the only way to do this. It's sounds like fiction to me for someone to register a car in one area and than by his own to put the plates on in another location.
