theBESTof renee Sure! I didn't explain it since my position wasn't being challenged but now that it is, here goes: I said the concept of it sounds stupid to me. And you have it flipped btw. I think getting drunk on purpose is stupid, therefore I don't do it. Not "I don't do it, therefore it is stupid". Anyway, the idea of drinking so much to the point that your decision making abilities are compromised, is unintelligent to me. People often do things drunk that they would never do sober. You risk putting yourself in harms way or harming someone else. And I don't think that safety should be thrown out the door for the sake of "fun". Plus, many people say that they get so drunk that they can't even remember what they did the next day. How do you even know if you had that much fun if you can't remember? I'd rather make good memories while having fun. And then there's hangovers...I don't think I need to explain why they aren't fun. I don't have anything against drinking alcohol. I just don't get drunk.
