Hi SWU, you can get the forestry helper mod. You can set the length and it will show you on the log when you use the chainsaw. It works really good if you want to be a bit more consistent in the cutting process.

Hey I’ve been binge watching your channel since I found it and enjoy every bit of it! But I have one small tip to whenever it come to the winch ! If you cut the tree to fall in the opposite direction to where you wanna pull it should make it a lot easier to pull where you want it ! That way you don’t have to spin it around while pulling you can just pull it straight ! Just my opinion ! Keep up the great work and can’t wait to see where this series take us and can’t wait for 2025 to come out

The little trailer with the log loader would be handy for some just starting out and the sell point is on the other side of the map. For what you are doing it would be quicker just to drag them to your saw mill with the winch.

That matches my thoughts about this right now. I have some plains for how to mix this up and change up how we are doing things. Pretty obsessed with this playthrough.

@@FarmingSimSWU also some weights have a pin hitch built in so you can pull trailers without detaching. Also there is a mod for saplings that have a lager capacity and I think they allow to plant super close together although that may be another tree type mod I have. Over 400 mods it gets muddy on remembering what things do what lol😅

Check out the “Lizard Tree B Gone” mod. It’s based on a real life mulcher by Skid Pro called the SP500. By far the best way to get rid of stumps in the game. It’s heavy so you’ll need a good weight.

Speaking of a telehandler, I enjoy messing with the JCB tele-truck. It’s a skid-steer mod that has a boom out functionality. I use it to load gold pallets from no man’s land, I think I can stretch about the full width of the semi-trailer with it. It’ll go longer, I’m just not that good with it. In game purchase price is decent, like $20-30k, so it’s not “cheap,” but it’s definitely a good starter telescoping lift truck.

A suggestion would be to buy a small plow to mark the lines for where you want to plant trees

The paper factory is a “Y” production compared to the other production that is an “II” production. “II” aka parallel run all at 100% , “Y” production run split, for example running one is 100%, running two each one is 50%, running three each is 33%, etc.

that machine your trying to think of is called a skyline. you can get it and and set it up from the trees to a building set to distribute the logs to the work shops

I'd get a front loader and a log hook for the JCB myself. Buy a Timber Runner and ditch that yellow crane thing

Maybe there is a Mod that auto-marks where to cut Trees, to get them to the length you want/need.Also, mabe you could draw a Line of Gravel around your Property, so you would not have to check the Map

hi swu the rear weight you are using in this episode has a hitch on it so you can attach the trailer to the weight

The machine with the which is a yarder and it is really good for mountains like in silver run hook it up high and bring all the logs to you the trailer one is better then the one that hooks up to your tractor but I know mod hub just added a grapple yarder which is way better should definitely give it a try
