I have always used tonnes personally as it’s 1000kg. The maths wasn’t wrong. I just mis quoted the amount.

Great video as always. Can’t wait for you to go on your next trip. I did a 3 month trip in 2022 taking in Greece and many other countries and it was amazing. Greece in a motorhome/Campervan is incredible. It will be different this time of the year ( we went in April to July), but fantastic still. I really want to do Greece in the off season. @@Adz I think in a lot of ways, this time of year will be better weather wise. During summer it is so hot, that it can almost be a bit unbearable in the van unless you have off grid aircon which virtually no one has. Hopefully it should be 18-25 degrees which is bloody lovely. It will also be nice to see Greece and other countries without the heavy tourism you get in summer. It should really be epic. I’m excited for you and as I said, can’t wait for your Vlogs. There are scorpions on the Isle of Sheppey. Supposedly relatively easy to find due to the isolated location they are in and the fact that they glow under a UV light (although i will concede that i was unsuccessful when i tried to find them). Well worth considering if you go back that way again though. They're in the old dock yard walls. You were relatively close i think as i'm pretty sure i stayed in that first car park when i was lookkng for them.

To follow this up you should drive up to North Wales look out at Beauforts Dyke in the Irish sea. Basically it was where all the WW1 & WW2 unused ordnance was dumped in 1946/7. Took the RAF six months to lorry it up there. If that went off you could kiss goodbye to most of Irish and Welsh coastlines until the Phosgene gas pollution disappears in a century or two. I think that one is 14'500 tonnes of mixed TNT across a million shells. Small atomic explosion basically in size. Boris planned to put a Irish channel tunnel there until his advisors told him that might not be a vote winner.

Great video buddy, think you're missing a trick with the next travel excursion though. You've been to the coldest, next should be the hottest, ie the equator. How about Tenerife, and a jaunt up the volcano (Mount Tiede). That'd be proper good 👍

Yeah I’ll definitely do that sort of thing at some point but probably not in the van. When I was in Italy recently in a motorhome it was literally too hot to even step in the van during the day without nearly dying 😂 and it only cooled down enough to sleep around 4am

In the late 1990s I was working on a civil engineering programme along the Thames Estuary. I spoke with a number of specialists who have worked on the 'Monty and the opinion that it would be the largest non-nuclear explosion is not universally held. I don't know the full physics of it but as I understand it the force of the explosion dissipates as a square of the distance. Yes, it would still be a spectacular sight to see, but the idea of it wiping out the Thames Estuary and "half of Northern Kent" is far-fetched.

Great video again Adz. Made me and the Mrs chuckle. When you announced you was going to fly your Drone off the boat I was like oh no and said to the Mrs watch this look I bet he’s going to do exactly what happened to me in Tenerife on that Catamaran 🙈 Basically we was out on Catamaran off the coastline Dolphin spotting. I flew my drone much to the advice not to do so from the Skipper as he says we have lost lots of drones and they never come back…I wanted to check out the near by nudist beach so the digital bird was airborne 🤪… firstly when the battery was running low it tried to ‘return home’ and considering our position had changed quite a lot due to drifting that was the first bum twitch…I guided the bird home manually using the GPS map and then final bum twitches was the same as what you experienced. As them DJI Mini 4 PRO get close to a moving boat the obstacle avoidance does bizurk and doesn’t like landing….i tried to grab it numerous times and it just flew away and backed off from me…man was panicking by this stage as was almost empty battery then I had a brain fart and worked out what the problem was so flicked it into Sport mode on the little selector switch on the handset which disables the obstacle avoidance which will then let you land on a moving object. Shit nearly did hit the fan though…and my underwear too 😅 Skipper gave me a can of Samiguel and said that’s the first drone I’ve seen land back on my boat 💪

Haha well done for getting yours back! You can grab them out the air but you do have to move in quick before they fly away from you! I hadn’t thought about putting it into sport mode. Although you do have to be very careful because if it’s in sport mode, DJI won’t replace anything if it crashes or goes missing. They can see from the flight logs which mode it was in

@Adz Bosnia is a bit rundown and the border crossings are a pain , they are entering the EU but haven't quite got the hang of democracy yet , also my phone signal dropped and had to navigate blind . Slovenia is beautiful but the police will fine you for wild camping , even with the land owners permission. I don't know your time constraints but I would recommend not missing the italian lakes, garda , Como etc but above all ,do not miss the dalmatian cost , I did the amalfi cost this beats it hands down. Enjoy

They were supposed to remove the masts a while ago apparently but no one has managed to do it yet. A few boats have gone off course and nearly hit it before though! So it’s still a possibility. They did try to remove a similar smaller ship and that one exploded so it looks like they won’t be trying to remove this one

@Adz no there's company that's contracted to remove masts (next year now) but can only do it In certain weather conditions, that's if putin doesn't do it first with the Russian ship thats mored 15 miles off of the coast of margate full of explosive material...but the monty is safe enough has years ago I went on to my old bosses boat and we mored off of the monty and fished this way before exclusion zone set up but royal navy dive down to it every so often so as safe as houses
