It's so nice to see someone maintain an older horse, like Bagheera, well enough that they can derive such pleasure from a ride together. It's obvious Bagheera loves these excursions. Thank you for proving older horses are worth the time and money to keep them happy and healthy. Far too few people realize the potential older horses bring to them.

You really lucked out when you bought her (even though you thought you had another gelding. LOL)😂😂 Have you ever encountered any wildlife while trail riding? If so how do the horses react?🤔 I've been on trail rides and there were quite a few deer and both deer and horses seemed comfortable, neither the horses or deer ran away or got spooked. It was amazing how close we got to the deer, we were in an open area. Hope you feel better soon. I also suffer with allergies all year long but worse during the warm months.🤧😮‍💨

Being on a trail ride with you would drive me crazy. Except for your information that the trail falls off on each side every other comment is unnecessary. The riders behind you can see what you are doing and copy.

@@Ginger-w8h Lucky for you (and all of us), you never have to go on a trail ride with her so the judgy comments are unnecessary. But just FYI I spent my adolescence and early adulthood volunteering and working at dude ranches, summer camps, and all kinds of kids' riding programs. I even completed training and certification for it. It's pretty standard practice to shout out obstacles on the trail and communicate with your riders, especially if you're leading. The fact is the riders behind you *cannot* always see what you're seeing because of rocks, trees, sharp turns, etc. and the warning can be very helpful for navigation. In my trail lines I would have no more than 3-4 riders with my wranglers positioned in between them, because it was very easy to lose sight of the trail line, and I needed my wranglers to help me keep an eye on things. Verbal signals are extremely important on the trail, especially when riding with kids or students, and Shae did everything right.

Bagheera is a true testament to your amazing care. I cannot believe a 30-year old horse looks as good as she does, and can still perform as well as, if not better than, the younger horses. She's stunningly beautiful and fit!

What a grand ol gal! There were a few moments where she went out of a posting trot into a more extended, faster, even trot. Like a freaking harness racing horse! Bagheera is amazing. Morgans are very hardy, and can live long. Hopefully Bagheera will able to play on the trails for many more years! ❤ We've been having tons of pollen here because of all the rains. I've started washing my face off 4 and 5 times a day just to reduce the amount of pollen on my face!

Hearing the leathers rhythmically squeaking and rubbing gives me so many good memories when we had our horses, working, playing and riding the trails. The view between their ears, the smell of leather, horses and all the things!!🥹 Had my heart horse - a gelded solid, so honest, moustached Black Quarter Horse X Friesian( lived for 39 1/2 years), a forward, flashy gelded Appaloosa X Arab “Chico” (my husband’s), daughter’s papered forward to the point of flying up the hills gelded Dk. Bay Standardbred “Magic” (we rescued from the racetrack), other daughter’s papered so sweet Dark Bay Quarter Horse Mare “Aurora”, our gelded Pinto Welsh Pony “Bill” loved kids so much, our gelded Welsh Cross Pony came with the name Buffalo. So we had Buffalo Bill! Lol. He was a grumpy gus and had very poor, spoiled manners. He took some work to learn how to behave. I haven’t been able to ride for many years now - can barely walk. Waiting on back surgery. Thank you so much for your trail ride video tonight!! It had all the feels!!👏🥰🐎🐴💖💕💕🇨🇦

Years ago, on one of my worst allergy days ever, I pretty much out of desperation popped on a face mask (the regular surgical type). To my pleasant surprise, I started feeling better within a few minutes. I also found that a mask helped me feel better when a moldy smell (that some houses get after rain) was making me feel I'll. I won't guarantee that this will work for everybody. But I'm passing it on out of sympathy/empathy for Shae and other allergy sufferers during this challenging time of year.

My Arabian and Bagheera are totally twins, jet black shiny coats. He's totally forward and freaking gorgeous as well,,I sure hope he is the same at 30. My guy is 23 and runs the pasture with once a wild Mustang. Both are best buds, Mustang is 3 yrs old, and I got him at 10 months old. Wish I could put their pictures on here. Two things. First... how the heck do you ride, film, narrate, and teach all at the same time?! My brain would melt! And second... I found myself mesmerized by Baghera's ears. They were always perked up forward and she constantly scanned her environment. You're right when you say that old girl can MOVE.
