11:00 That's a pretty sweet looking oscope. I've got their cheaper, smaller DSO - TC3. It's a single Channel oscope and Signal generator. You're going to want to turn down the voltage on that generator as 3 volts is kind of like full volume for a lot of head units. I run mine at 0.3 to 0.5 volts. For easy connections into your audio system you're going to want a BNC to RCA adapter cable.

For anyone that's curious, 147 cubic decimeters is equivalent to 5.2 cubic feet.

I’ve done an ignition system with rockauto as well for a unobtainable item just like something similar to your cars case where I couldn’t find it anywhere else and they are the only ones who offer that service to send it in and have yours rebuilt! Do it jerr 😊

@JasonWW2000Ай бұрын
If you're looking for an 8 channel DSP that's decent quality and inexpensive, you might check out the one from Marts. Hifi Vector did a review on it. It's got 4v out which most of the cheaper units don't.

HAPPY BIRTHDAY 🎂 🎉 this might seem crazy but I have a 2008 chevy aveo hatchback. Yes a little car but I'm trying to figure out how to do a build that will get windy. Idk even if it's possible cause the room i have is 43 wide 48 high and 36 deep. Any ideas? I have 6 wdx 12s and two soundigital evox 12s but I don't know how to calculate an enclosure. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Hope you feel better and make awsome memories on your birthday
@JasonWW2000Ай бұрын
To get max air space, you'd need to install a wall behind your front seats. Look for other small car builds, such as the Honda CRX. An enclosure is typically built into the vehicle permanently. Check EXO's build of little blue from several years ago. He had two 18's in it. It was a Saturn Ion which was really small.

Yep that's just a regulator problem the diaphragm inside musta ripped. Man your voice sounds rough, that was goin around here couple weeks ago luckily I avoided it.
@JasonWW2000Ай бұрын
Yeah, it seems like a busted diaphragm in the regulator. They even provided a weep hole so that you know when it leaks. All the parts on that engine were made such a long time ago. I wonder if it's the addition of ethanol in our fuels that's may be breaking down certain components in that old fuel system.

Redbeard rebass or DJ dirty bass.
@JasonWW2000Ай бұрын
Thanks, I figured it already existed somewhere. It took a while to figure out using the Google Drive, but Redbeard had some good files. I confirmed my headunit only plays down to 18hz. Kind of a bummer, but most brands only guarantee down to 20hz. I get a little extra.

It's too bad they didn't send you 2 of the Hyanka subwoofers. You could run them isobaric with half the box and port. Twice the power and gain 6dbs.
@JasonWW2000Ай бұрын
You don't actually gain any output by mounting isobaric. What you gain is a much smaller enclosure.
@russellcrabtree5314Ай бұрын
@JasonWW2000 actually you are incorrect. Every bit of written research and videos on KZbin all say the gain in decibels is a reflection of the clamshell effect of an isobaric build. So I'm not going to take your word for it!
@JasonWW2000Ай бұрын
@russellcrabtree5314 I'm just trying to help you out, bud. Remember that you only have the cone area of a single sub and the extra power you're putting into it is going into moving the cone in that smaller enclosure. So there's not any real way to get extra output from it. Some people used to run isoberic back in the day, but it was only to allow for a smaller enclosure. I don't think I've seen anybody do an isoberic install in at least twenty years. There's a reason nobody uses it any more. It's completely unnecessary today. We have subs that are designed to work really well in small enclosures. If you're really interested in it, I encourage you to try it out for yourself and see what you think about it. 👍

16mm xmaxx
@drewanderson8279Ай бұрын
So on their site I says .55 in xmaxx. Wonder which it is?
@JasonWW2000Ай бұрын
Whether it's 14 or 16, it's close enough that it shouldn't really matter.
@JasonWW2000Ай бұрын
I see four different 15-inch subwoofers from Hyanka and there are three different x-max values. 0.65 = 16.5mm 0.59 = 15mm 0.55 = 14mm

Hey sir got a ? Seeing if u can help i got a system n my car had it for a while but i recently upgraded to bugger subs but i ran all shca ofc seeing to have to much power draw idk when i turn it up my power seems to wanna shut off can that be a sighn of a alternator goin bad never had this problem till i upgraded subs n put a extra bigger battery ?
@JasonWW2000Ай бұрын
You need to diagnose the issue. Get a digital multimeter and put it on the amplifiers input power and ground. Then load up the system and see how low your voltage drops. You can get a DC clamp meter pretty cheap. You can use that to see how many amps your amplifier is pulling from your battery. Then you can use it to see how many amps your alternator is putting out under load. This will give you a good understanding of what's going on and where the problem might be. I'd start with the easiest and cheapest stuff first, which is checking all your connections. Check to make sure all you're grounding points and fuses are clean and tight, etc... Make sure your factory ground wires from the body, frame and engine to the battery are all clean and tight.
