@Brian-mp2mv7 ай бұрын
48:42 Luke! Don't bend over to drag the crab pots. Make a hook with a T handle to drag the crab pots across the floor! Make it Y shaped on the other end, so you can hook two places on the pot and spread the load and not stretch the wire cage. At the milk processing plant, we used T handled hooks (approx. 36 inches long, 1/2" diameter with 3/4 inch black pipe T handle) to drag cases of milk stacked 6 high across the cooler floor and trailer floor.
@phonedave7 ай бұрын
As soon as I read T Hook, I though "that's how I used to drag stacks of milk around the grocery store"
@Brian-mp2mv7 ай бұрын
@@phonedave Only way to move milk, if it's not palletized. In the cooler, the floors were diamond plate steel, and with practice... you could drag the stack off the conveyor, spin and sling the 6 case stack 20 foot to its resting area. (in the winter time, we'd be on the back dock, and go into the cooler to get warm!😮) Good times, good memories... but I sure was glad when I came out of the cooler and became a pasteurization operator.

Luke, an idea for future transome access: Make the top portion hinge on the side (like the access into a bar) and hinge the rear panel to fold down/outside (if you beef it up, you could walk up it). Also, you really need to dress up your roof line with a drip edge (like 1x6 plastic wood) to keep the water from wickin under & into your plywood.

Luke that boat stand is sweet man. I think you should definitely extend the counter all the way down not to the bow but to the doorway of the cabin. Can't go wrong with plenty of counter space, Then once you have the counters built you should build up a little form around the counters and just pour some clearcoat polyurethane as a countertop you can put cool stuff in there before you pour the polyurethane like hooks and fishing stuff. Heck You probably could even take some big number one males set them on the counter and then pour the clearcoat polyurethane in on top of them. I don't know how that would actually work but you could always get some fake realistic toy crabs and do the same thing

I watch Cleetus McFarland, Demo Ranch, Deer Meat for Dinner, and a few others. Love your channel, it’s super real and down to earth. Coming from living in the mountains of VA and loving going to the ocean for vacation, there’s something about non touristy fishing/crabbing that I’d love to try one day. Whenever I have a midlife crisis it will probably lead me towards the water lol

Been watching your content for a couple months now, and love every second. I don't comment on youtube videos much, but you asking for people's favorite content creators got me thinking. One of my absolute favorite youtubers is BuckinBillyRaySmith! He has amazing chainsaw and forestry content and he is a real down-to-earth man with a lot of good life experience and tips to share. One of the purest human beings in the world! I'm from Ohio, but one of these days I would love to travel over to Maryland to check out the new crab stand and meet you in person. Love your content and wish you the absolute best this crabbing season and for the rest of your life!

It’s all about the passion. My life is a grind. I watch people that are excited about their life. Cole the cornstar. Jp the bee man, sailboat story, the crooked anchor, Sampson boats, SV Seeker, acorn to Arabella, and you.

Jimmy Oakes - I watch his videos religiously. He's hard working, has amazing style in tuner cars, and his crew is positively the same way. It's videos on mainly drifting and wrenching on tuner cars.
